Well the thing is, they're still useless. $100k hunks of metal and plastic that can't even climb up stairs on their own. Been watching idiots like this Kai destroy these things for a year now.

These things at their current power consumption levels, which I'm sure are already bonkers, are only even possible because they're half made of plastic, and the other half is very lightweight metals.

If you had a Terminator sized robot skeleton that was constructed with metal that was capable of making bullets bounce off of it using the same power core that our little Jizzbot here is powered off of, the thing would probably move about 5 feet before you needed to charge it up to full again.

So this isn't even a question about the source of the power itself, but just the means of storing that power on-board. Ain't a battery in existence that could power a robot that would make it a reliable killing machine.

Until they're all running with Fallout and/or Iron Man style nuclear cores, they're as scary as a purse poodle.

China can do all the super choreographed dance routines it wants to, but they're no better.
