At the end of the line for everyone, wherever and whenever that may be...

... if anybody looks back and really reflects on when the beginning of the end of civilization took place and is truly and deeply honest with themselves about the subtle tectonic shifts that occurred over generations to get where we are now, they're going to have to admit that it all started when human beings, mostly white American and European male human beings in particular, had invented so many quality of life improvements that eventually became so cheap nearly every household had one, and it all ran smoothly on top of all of the infrastructure built behind our walls that we all take for granted today until something breaks, and nearly everyone's lives became so easy and so filled with free time that their forebears would never dare imagined what they'd do with since they would literally die if they just decided to sit on a couch and spend half of their waking hours staring at a shiny rectangle.

And it never feels like you have enough free time, or me time, or family time or sleep time, does it? Of course not. Because whatever you're living is your normal state of being. It's your baseline, both for the highs and the frequencies with which they come as well as how far down and dragged out the lows get.

We're all living on this rock together for the same amount of time, but everybody's perception of how time passes, plotted at any and every point in time, is just as random and different a pattern from anybody else's pattern as any snowflake ever was from another.

If you lost your inertia and you either can't or don't want to find a way to regain it, you could work zero hours per week and still feel like there isn't enough time in a day.

Ask me how I know.

Once we got to that point, and 90% of the people don't know how to change their oil 70% have never changed a tire and don't feel confident they could if it were required and 50% of the people who don't understand how dirty it really is creating electricity that runs their lives because they don't ever bother to look behind the curtain...

Once we got to that point, and everybody started paying stupid prices to do all the stuff that they should know how to do and not mind doing themselves because they were too busy making really good money doing a job that contributes nothing worthwhile to anybody...

Once we got to that point, and the only reason the amount of divorces have gone down is because so many less people are actually getting married...

Once we got to that point...

How hard was it really to rally all the downtrodden on one central digital hub and get them to believe whatever and do whatever you want them to?

How else do you explain what we've been witnessing for over a decade and are only NOW finally seeing people open their eyes to ever being able to take place other than some very powerful methods of en-masse hypnosis that is being carried out on all of us?

To hear the media explain the situation, nobody ever had a problem with anything until right now.

First it was "You're crazy. You're talking about things that would never happen."

Then it was "Shame on you. Don't be a racist."

Once that stopped having the desired effect, it was a Hate Crime, which is additional fines, penalties and time served almost exclusively for illegal acts committed by hetrosexual Anglo males and literally nobody else.

Somewhere along the way, we were replaced in all the jobs. Top to bottom... Inside the country or out... Demographics only ever matter when they put you at a financial advantage. The second they start losing you real money, that particular demographic is off the mission statement. Ask any former Gay Pride Parade Organizer if they found another job or if they're still collecting unemployment checks. It's all about the Benjamins, baby. 24/7/365, every single second until the sun implodes or whoever is dreaming this wild dream finally wakes up. Seems sometimes like it all happened nearly overnight, but that's only if you weren't paying any attention until it happen(s)/(ed) to you.

But now that you know, don't ever bitch about the change in scenery. We know you didn't ask for any of it, but Fuck You. Diversity is our Strength!

Where would Great Britain be today if it weren't for the contributions of this Somalian battle age male and his 60 male childhood friends who just started going to your daughters high school? Not a single damn one of them shares or even understands how a fraction of 1% of your society even functions, with most of them disrespecting the natural born citizens while taking all of our money. These men who share 0% in common with the society you thought you were living in until just yesterday? This person who didn't live within 3,000 miles of here 8 months ago?

Oh, we don't have any refugees living in our gated community, but I'm sure we would be very welcoming and accommodating to them and we wouldn't dare even dream that we lived in such a horrible and evil racist world where one would even ask such questions! Yes, yes... I know that we have laws banning knives in Britain, but I'm sure that is a mostly peaceful work-related machete that stunning and brave six foot tall very dark 23 year old is waving around and I'm sure that he has a very good reason for calling out his cult god's name. Mind your manners! Don't be racist! It's rude to stare at a beheading, don'tcha know!

Unchecked illegal immigration normalized in the minds as the moral right thing to do in at least 30% of the youngest generation or two. You're a fucking no good Nazi if you don't want wide open borders. But please pay no attention to the fact that we pick up black people every day... the ACTUAL BLACK AMERICAN CITIZEN, and use them as a fucking cudgel whenever we're out "Saving Demooocracy!" or "Bashing the Fash!"

Fucking losers.

What's my point? I don't know...

It's not a good thing for people to work less just for the sake of working less.

We need jobs. But we need worthy jobs. And I don't mean that a dirty job is beneath anyone. I've worked a lot of dirty jobs that felt satisfying at the end of the day, and a few of them even paid pretty decent. Would I want to do most of them now that I'm pushing 50? Fuck no. But that's how life's supposed to go when the supply chain of life ain't all propped up artificially everywhere it ain't fully on life support. When you're young and learning how to do the job, you do the grunt work and take all the shit from the old guys who are teaching you the skills you're going to be using one day to support your own family. And one day you'll be passing along everything you learned to the next know-it-all knucklehead who's turn it is to learn from the master, and you'll have your own coffee bitch one day.

When I say worthy jobs, I mean any jobs that actually make you feel like what you did was actually just a little bit important. The knowledge that you did something today that made the world just a little bit nicer than it was yesterday. The knowledge that you'll be even better at it the next time you do it. The knowledge that and you actually got paid a respectable living wage with health insurance and maybe even a few benefits thrown in for your trouble.

Can't we figure out a way to do things like re-doing curbs and landscaping projects in cities, especially in the centers of cities where everything seems to be falling to shit almost everywhere? Do we really have to be paying exorbitantly high union wages for everything which only seems to ensure that nothing ever gets done again when we could be teaching kids how to do it? They could make a few bucks after school doing the safe stuff like planting gardens and learning a few tricks from the pros about how to do the adult stuff like concrete that they'll be old enough to be doing themselves in no time at all...

It seems like putting down new blacktop in half of my city's businesses and getting rid of that plague of potholes we've all been dealing with for over a decade now would be a hell of a lot more productive way of spending taxpayer money than ripping up the entirety of 294 every goddamned summer, is all I'm saying.

Can't we find a way to spend this kind of government money on worthwhile community projects like this and prevent all of those really bad people from figuring out more ways to literally steal all of that money right before our eyes? Can't we stop showing The People that this happens over and over and over again and yet nobody of consequence ever goes to prison or pays any of it back?

Can't we stop making new agencies and new administrative government jobs where everybody is always busy, busy, busy with the busy work but nothing of consequence actually ever gets done?

Can't we find a way to actually give decent wages to people and really get good work out of them in return? Maybe even a sense of pride in themselves and their own ability and a sense of pride in their community instead of everyone increasingly isolating themselves from each other and letting everything fall to shit around them with nobody ever doing anything about it?

We don't have to keep living like this. This is a decision. Whether a conscious one or not, a decision has been made. By all of us as a group, as well as by each and every one of us on an individual level.

Life is too easy for all of us here, and it has been for a very long time. Even the complete fuck ups and the homeless. Life is too easy for everyone in America. Pretty much everyone I knew who grew up at a time where life was still pretty damn awful for even a lot of Americans aren't with us anymore.

In 2020s America, no matter what your life situation here is, from the very worst off on up to the very best, you are doing better than your counterpart in a great deal of other countries if not all of them. In almost countless little ways, we're all doing way better than anybody in the world did 60 or 70 years ago... even the rich. No matter the overall percentage, you are unarguably doing better here than your counterpart in any 3rd world nation. And with the issues I've had, I would be lying if I didn't put myself on that list too. My counterpart in any 3rd world nation today or anywhere on the planet 60 or 70 years ago would almost certainly have died several years ago. A lot of you are doing so much better here in America that you don't have a counterpart in nearly any other country on the planet outside of New Zealand and the most Socialist of countries in the current EU either.

So... "Idle Hands" and all of that, right?

We just sat back and eventually let them take everything from us over time in trade for easy living and as conflict free as possible a life as we could live. And like that frog slowly boiled over, we never saw it coming and we never stood a chance...

Or did we?

I dunno. I never saw this movie. I'm not very hopeful that it gets a nice Hollywood ending, but I'm interested in seeing how it plays out.
