Who knew... apparently MJ didn't do it.

You think he's gonna get burned in Civil?

Ala OJ.

Just because the jury had reasonable doubts, that still doesn't mean Jackson is innocent!

I agree, and I believe that he did do it. To me what's worse is that if he'd offered the mother money in private to allow him to do such heinous acts to her children, I think she would have let him.

I do think MJ will get the civil LS bat whomped against his fortunes a few more times not matter what legal case he wins.

Just the way of things when you are a big target.

I wouldn't be surprised if MJ's pastice surgeons try to sue based on the ill will the current lawsuit has casued them collaterally.

HARDWARE

I'm very happy he was acquitted. He said if acquitted he would leave the United States. Now he can move to Thailand where he can get a boy delivered to his house in 30 minutes or he's free.

The more I get to know people the more I like my dogs.

Considering how sickly Michael Jackson seems to have become through the course of this, an acquittal doesn't appear to be nearly enough.

As far as civil actions, I think MJ should win his countersuits against the family. Does anybody know if he can sue Santa Barbara proscecutors, or any other officials?

The case against Michael was not merely weak, but a sad look at how a pathetic ex-Pop Idol was exploited by the people he tried to help.

The nerve of that bitch/con artist, claiming she'd been "held against her will" while MJ paid for her body wax, and her kids' orthodontist.

Special Level of Hell not even punishment enough for a mother who'd use her kids, and especially a boy with cancer, to milk money and favors from a wealthy benefactor. And to *let* her kids party unsupervised at Neverland, and to *let* her kids sleepover. No wonder the jury came to not only reject her testimony, but (from comments made to reporters) to openly dislike her.

I hope she loses custody of her kids.
Maybe there's a chance to save the second generation of liars in that family.

I don't agree with some of the points in the first part of your post, but the end spoke to me.

The truth of the matter is that there will always be sick bastards out there who like to touch children, and as Hardware already pointed out, in Thailand it's a lucrative market....

But when a Mother allows her child to be put into these circumstances, she as well as he, should be judged by a group of her angry peers. Frankly if someone were to touch my child, I can't say he'd make it to court.

And of course, the other issue here is, we want children to be BELIEVED when they report they've been molested.

In this case, the evidence seems to point to children being coached to file false reports.

As a mother who once had a child with cancer, I also grieve that some celebrities who extended themselves to brighten the lives of a sick child were so used. I think of all the phone calls, wish trips, special parties, personal attention, and EVERYTHING that actors and others sent Jacob's way before he died -- and how much that last year of his life was AMAZING and wonderful, despite his terrible illness -- that it wounds me to my core to think that some celebrities will now be more wary of helping other cancer kids, because of that one family and how they apparently used the son's illness to exploit people.

God forbid that boy should ever have a relapse.
