hehehe, aint americans, crack me up. you realize you wouldnt be able to say that in any other country. hahhaaha

if you dont love your country the get out. be happy and move on. but the problem is you dont want to you would rather say and bad mouth it. cause you can, go somewhere else where you think you can bash the country and see what it gets you!

we will always have our differances, thats what we are about, but we should stand united in our country, that is what makes up mighty.

before 9/11, we have differances in the election and such, but right after 9/11, we put that aside and came together like we have always done. if you dont want to stand with us they go away, but dont stand in our home field and cuss us. that wont work, people can turn on you and will.

think of it like a high school football game, whos side are you on?? dont be a visitor and sit in the home stands and shout for the other team! hehe not excpet the response you are going to get.

so back to my first reply, GET OUT!!! go live in any other country you think you might be happy in!

GoodBye

I don't "love" America. Every day brings a new reason to cringe and a revelation of another self-created problem.

Is it a beacon? Well, you don't see Europeans thronging to the shores. Or the Chinese, Koreans, Japanese. The people who throng to the US are from abysmal places. So I guess the US has something to be proud of - it doesn't suck as badly as the worst of the worst. But then Europe could make the same claim. They have a thriving illegal immigrant problem as well.

That America could come so close to being a fascist state - if it isn't one already - under the complacent eye of its citizens - is truly an indication of the American spirit. Lies about WMD ? Never happened, and even if it did, it's all just part of the US's greatness. Spying on 1/10 of the entire US phone system? On US citizens and their financial transactions? On calls? Maintaining databases on political figures and everyday protestors? Warrantless searches. Unitary executive? No big deal. You have to lose freedom to fight for it, eh?

And then entrenched interests have been writing the legislation for over a decade. It's no longer "of, by and for the people". Well, what's good for business is good for America even if the middle class gets squeezed out of existence. So that makes it all right.

I'm waiting for the day when as a country people have hope again. Then I'll love Ameica.

And right there 'they' will read this as you hate America. See, language escapes these dopes. Just words...like all that stuff on that "goddamn piece of paper", aka The Constitution. No need to pay attention to those words, either. This is the essence of what does disgust me about certain folks and groups in America.

Dopes, you may read this as "I hate America" if you wish...

You will anyway Chrisisall

There were also severe limits on what (and when) the press could report anything related to the war.

I'm guessing that irritated Hitler (and a few licentious, civil liberitarians back home), but thankfully the majority of folks realized that there was a threat bigger than a temporarily stifled press.

Were that war fought today, The New York Times would be reporting that we were developing an atomic bomb, while CBS's 60 Minutes was knocking on Robert Oppenheimer's door, demanding an interview, and CNN would be incorporating segments from both Dr. Goebels and Tokyo Rose into their daily broadcasts, while both ABC & NBC nightly ran lists of casualities (sometimes daily in the thousands), and interviewed German and Japanese civilians who were suffering under the oppressive Allied bombings.

Very funny...well, not really. It has to be rooted in reality to get a joke going, and we could not have had that whole war, such as it was, in today's time, so the points you're trying to make are pointless. Times change, and technology changes things too.

We did have jets in WW2. We just didn't commit the Gloster Meteor to front line service because we didn't want to risk the engine falling into German hands. Analysis by the few folks that flew both Meteors and ME262's is that it would have been an interesting dogfight. The German plane had the better airframe and the British plane had better engines that you could over-run for longer without them blowing up or burning out.

You either missed the point of my post, or conveniently decided to ignore it.

Firstly, I was responding to Hero's post regarding the limitation of certain freedoms during war -- then mentioning that the press was also restricted (and rightfully so).

As Hero stated, "The exigencies of war require many sacrifices, including a little inconveniance of liberty today to ensure that liberty is around for all the tomorrows."

It's too bad the press of today haven't learned the lesson of history.

Secondly, the analogies were entirely accurate, (if not right on the mark), and all you would have to do is turn on any of those broadcast networks (or open The New York Times) on any given day to plainly discern as much. The press regularly reveals sensitive information, regardless of the lives it may cost. They unashamedly broadcast proganda produced by enemies of the United States. And they relish in reporting how many soldiers we've lost, and how many civilians have been inconvenienced, injured or killed by our actions.

As such, one doesn't have to surmise how the press may have acted indiscretely 65 years ago (if their liberties hadn't been curtailed at that time), when they are consistently doing so in the present.

Good effort at trying to misdirect everyone, though.

Umm, but we DID, they just sucked too bad to use in combat.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P-59_Airacomet

And maybe if the press hadn't covered for an administration deliberately and intentionally provoking an attack on pearl harbor, we wouldn't have been involved.

http://www.independent.org/newsroom/article.asp?id=408

As far as secrecy goes, our history of it's use has been idiotic at best, coverups of incompetence, stupidity, fraud and waste, with self-muzzling of the press under the guise of "National Security" - it amounts to a de-facto disenfranchisement of the american people AND their elected reps, because without factual, accurate information, how can decisions be made regarding such things ?

And don't even get me started on propaganda, given the fate of Jeff Gannon and Talon News Service, or the MILLIONS of my tax dollars poured into military propaganda efforts to lie to us and get us to shovel even more money into the black pit of the DoD budget.

http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Lincoln_Group

Don't play that "National Security" bullshit on me, it was bullshit when Lincoln used it, and it's bullshit now.

You rightwingnuts are just pissed because THIS TIME, the lies that led us into a futile war were handily shredded by a vigilant press IN SPITE of propaganda efforts and attempts to muzzle the media.

Cause now the "media" isn't just Hearst and Murdoch and easily-bought big boys, thanks to the internet the "media" is all of us, any one of us - and while fact checking your info is more important than ever, anyone reasonably competent can poke holes in government lies now.

No war we've been involved in since the revolution has begun with anything but lies, and this one is no damned different.

The idea that the New York times would be reporting on developing of Nuclear Weapons is merely the symptom of a mind that can't quite grasp reality.

There's such a thing as state secrets you know. Military journalism of today is not much different to what it was during the Second World War, save for the technology of the time. Newspapers carried up to date information on battles, how do people think they got that information, ESP? But if you haven't got video cameras and TV's having videoed TV reports is a little bit on the hard side.

So, are the latest military technologies in the New York times? What are they? Oh that's right, we don't know, because they're secret. Kinda like the Manhatten project was.

its a little late.. this is what your republican president said in 1991
Quote:

"We have before us the opportunity to forge for ourselves and for future generations a new world order, a world where the rule of law, not the rule of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations. When we are successful, and we will be, we have a real chance at this new world order, an order in which a credible United Nations can use its peacekeeping role to fulfill the promise and vision of the U.N.'s founders."
who were its founders, and what was their vision?? hmm... either way Bush cemented the bond a year later in an address to the UN saying
Quote:

"It is the sacred principles enshrined in the United Nations charter to which the American people will HENCEFORTH PLEDGE THEIR ALLEGIENCE."
will you tell me the constitution is still relevant among these people?

ww1 brought the league of nations, ww2 the UN, ww3 a global government; it just takes a little insight and wisdom to see the forest through the trees here

You are a toadie for fascism, you bloated, supersticious biped. You make me sick, get out of my sight!

Oh, that's right...I can't actually see you......well..okay, stay where you are, just don't post a picture of yourself, or I may Sick of God-fearing NeoCon lackey scum Chrisisall

Oh, and BTW, nice reply. Very civil and well-thought, as usual. I owe you my sincerest gratitude for demonstrating more about your side of the debate than I ever could've with anything I could've said. Perhaps I'll have it engraved on a plaque to hang on my wall. It says so much about the mind from which it sprang. Now, I know I'm doing a good job. Thank you again.

Have you ever seen how smug and self satisfied serial killers can be, especially when winding up the good guys?

See above, it's a lot like that.

Just keep enjoying the blood that flows from the bodies of our kids to keep the kings on top of the mountain, you fool.

( Damn...I may have been too poetical there...he's gonna have a problem with the imagery...he'll probably go into a rant about how we don't have 'kings' in this country...Note to self: keep it literal when dealing with those of limited neural activity )

Funny thing is, he's trying to be witty *snicker* and doesn't reply to the accusations I tossed his way, so either he can't defend himself, he doesn't fully understand what I said, or he just doesn't care.
Since he made the lame attempt at some kind of response, albiet lacking in substance, I'll have to go with 'doesn't fully understand'.

dont misunderstand me, politics is completely unnatural and corrupt, so ill attribute blame liberally, my criteria is ones worldview, and whether theyre even trustworthy; the sad part is that most are faux-religious or secular humanist globalists, and you can hardly trust any of them.

there is no constructive criticism in the statement "i hate america"

true.. but it was just a tag line. i realize "hate" is pretty strong, but i doubt anyone here hates America(n)s, or any other nationality for that matter; it was probably just intented to raise the blood-pressure of the establishment goosesteppers around here

i never claimed otherwise,

no but you need to point that out and not just point bush's way. come on now fair and balanced.

the new clinton is what i am refering

i do talk about Clinton, but hes not president anymore... and if (God help us) Hilary or McCain or some other globalist is elected, ill expose them aswell; but as for now, its Bush, and he was given a specific phase of the NWO agenda to complete, and ill oppose it for what it is, just as people have done with every previous administration or congress with deceitful alterior motives

its a little late.. this is what your republican president said in 1991

Quote:

"It is the sacred principles enshrined in the United Nations charter to which the American people will HENCEFORTH PLEDGE THEIR ALLEGIENCE."
will you tell me the constitution is still relevant among these people?

ww1 brought the league of nations, ww2 the UN, ww3 a global government; it just takes a little insight and wisdom to see the forest through the trees here

occult you like "united we stand", in god we trust, life libery and the pursuit of happeness, oh come on so now the govt is built by devil worrishipers??

watch this video, and tell me thats a christian influence. we cant even get the complete ten commandments posted on government property

oh crap i better not use a triangle or a star for my company logo, cause i would be included in that mess, heaven for bid i make a ton of money with that logo. hehe come on man.

i take it you dont like the country you live in either? but oh how nice that you can go to whatever church you want, listen to whatever you want, read whatever you want, watch whatever you want, drive where ever you want without papers into each state, there are no slaves, no guard towers in you downtown area, no police busting in your door for NO reason

those are privelages merely granted to you for the time being.. those rights are not God granted. no populace ever asked to be oppressed, it happened either behind their backs or with their unwitting consent; so freedom requires vigilance. but go on.. burry your head in the sand and see where we're at 5-10 yrs from now

freedom is not free, that is what we have proven.
ask france, oh but they hate us, i forgot. lets just look at all the graves at normandy. yea they hate america, they would be speaking german if not for us.

Quote:

sounds like we have a really bad country, maybe hillary clinton will fix all that for you.

except shes a globalist shill aswell; look i actually recognize the corruption of both parties, which may still evade you, in light of your wrongly charachterized assumption about me. i mean why.. who will you vote for? some republican NWO manchurian candidate most likely.. or one-in-the-same

dem or rep they are all the same, you just have to boil it down to which one stands for what you have to say. but like you said behind the seens they are all just as bad. but, dont forget like the guy who hates this country, you get to vote.
like iraq can now thanks to us, hmmm which they are thankful. see the mainstream media wont show us that, just how bad it is. i have friend over there and they say it is not as bad as they make it out. as far as iraq hates us and all.
i see the slant on the mainstream media all the time. the fudge numbers to suit them and make the reps.look bad and the dems look good.

Quote:

maybe we need to pull out of iraq and then we can have guard towers downtown, that must be what everybody wants.

uh...

they will bring the war here if we dont get it under control over there. if we dont watch it we could have iraq type street here is what i ment.

Quote:

flatten DC and then we can put up a mosk would that make you all america haters happy, i bet it would.

thats a stretch.. oh wait, im dissenting... that must make me an evil 'islamo-fascist' terrorst alqaeda lover

no but why is everyone so unhappy with the way the country is set up and running? it is not as bad as other countries? like where you cant vote for starters.

Quote:

well i will fight for what i have now and deal with you wackos on a 1 on 1.

ditto

hehe i admire you in the battle of ideas

No offence, but if you're going to mock people with just two word answers can you keep the post to just those two, really long extraneous quotes are tiresome.

Hey Antimason....

It's scary how much you and I think alike. Don't you find that it's kinda hard to enjoy yourself most of the time though. Sometimes I'd like to take the blue pill and taste steak again (and have a 4 hour erection!)

When the facist thought police come to erase us I hope we get a chance to salute each other in the Ministry of Love before we disappear forever.

You do realize that by posting thoughts like these here, we have pretty much signed our own death warrants if it's half as bad as we believe it to be..........

btw.. does anyone else think Tohlo should lay off the Soma and quit blowing Big Brother?
