The Senator is sitting at her desk, talking on the phone. Other workers in her office are keeping busy.

SENATOR
(talking on the phone)
I can't officially comment on that, but off the record, if Mr. Conley's recent confession is true, then he's a very sick man who needs professional help.
(turns to face away from the door)
One of the goals of my next term in Washington is stronger federal guidelines.

Gunn walks in, unseen by the Senator, but noticed by others who work in the office. One of the workers swings at Gunn, who ducks and punches back.

36 INT. SENATOR BRUCKER'S CAMPAIGN HEADQUARTERS - NIGHT
The fighting in the Senator's office can't go unnoticed at this point. Gunn has engaged nearly everyone else there, but the Senator remains on the phone, unfazed. She snaps her fingers at the one vampire who is still sitting at his desk computer instead of fighting off Gunn. The vampire goes for Gunn, but Gunn stakes him instantly.

SENATOR
(on the phone)
The families are protected against pedophiles and other undesirables. Even the United States government...

Gunn then turns his attention to the Senator as he reaches to grab the axe from his back and hurls it at the Senator's head. It lands in the middle of her forehead, cutting off her conversation in mid-sentence. She collapses to the floor, still holding the phone to her ear.

GUNN
(to the remaining vampires)
Looks like you boys are gonna need to find a new candidate.
(the vampires encircle Gunn, growling)
And you wonder why folks don't vote.

Gunn straightens his arms, unfurling the stakes he had hidden up his sleeves. He stakes the first one that attacks him, but has to fight off the others with more difficulty.

Psychopathy is a term derived from the Greek psyche (soul) and pathos (suffering), and was once used to denote any form of mental illness. These days, psychopathy is defined in psychiatry as a condition characterised by lack of empathy or conscience, poor impulse control and manipulative behaviors. Though in widespread use as a psychiatric term, psychopathy has no precise equivalent[1] in either the DSM-IV-TR, where it is most strongly correlated with antisocial personality disorder, or the ICD-10, where it is correlated with dissocial personality disorder. In current clinical use, psychopathy is most commonly diagnosed using Robert D. Hare's Psychopathy Checklist-Revised (PCL-R). Hare describes psychopaths as "intraspecies predators who use charm, manipulation, intimidation, and violence to control others and to satisfy their own selfish needs. Lacking in conscience and in feelings for others, they cold-bloodedly take what they want and do as they please, violating social norms and expectations without the slightest sense of guilt or regret." To the layperson, the term psychopathy can take on broader meanings, often being confused with psychosis, particularly by the use of the abbreviation psycho. People commonly take "psychopath" to be interchangeable with their personal perception of an evil person. It is important to note that psychopathy also has various, quite separate legal and judicial definitions that should not be confused with the medical definition. Love being a very subjective experience, it is difficult to determine whether psychopaths do not experience it at all or experience it in a way foreign to conventional experiences. For instance, many define love through corresponding actions, not just words. Since psychopaths cause harm through their actions it is assumed that they are not attached to the people they harm; however, according to the Checklist, psychopaths are also careless in the way they treat themselves by failing to alter their behavior in a way that would prevent them from enduring future discomfort. This makes it difficult to fathom how they can have "a grandiose sense of self worth" yet repeatedly put themselves at risk through their own behavior. Dr. Joseph Newman contends that the behavior displayed by psychopaths is the result of "an inability to process contextual cues," which makes it difficult to label all their emotions as "shallow" rather than opaque beneath the plethora of bad behavior. It is thought that any emotions which the true psychopath exhibits are the fruits of watching and mimicking other people's emotions. Secondly how could Fox censor the pilot episode of Firefly as a result of the final Angel episode when Firefly first aired in September 2002 and the Angel finale first aired in May 2004?

Carlo comes into the room and over to Moloch. He kneels. Moloch steps over to him and puts his hand on his head. The camera pans up to Moloch's demonic face.

Cut to a church. Cut inside. The priest Thelonius is talking to a group of monks bearing torches.

The monks gather around him as he opens a large book. Cut to a shot from above. The pages of the book are blank.

Cut to Moloch. He smiles as he straightens up and lets Carlo's body fall. His expression changes when he realizes something is wrong, and he looks up.

Moloch: (surprised) No!

Cut to Moloch. He begins to scream angrily. Cut to the Church.

Thelonius: Ti commando! Vieni!

Translation: I command you! Come!

Cut to Moloch. He screams even more loudly in terror. Cut to the Church.

Thelonius: VIENI!

Translation: COME!

Cut to Moloch. He continues to scream. Suddenly he bursts into millions of tiny particles. Cut to the Church. The particles fall into the book
as the camera follows them down.

Thelonius: Vieni, demonio! Vieni!

Translation: Come, demon! Come!

As the particles fall into the book an ancient script appears. When the pages are filled, Thelonius closes the book. He steps over to a table and puts the book into a heavy wooden box.

Translation: Pray that this accursed book is never again read...

Cut to a shot of the priest from inside the box.
