Thanks for that SignyM. I do have passion when I believe in something or at least feel strongly about it. Why we think about the things we think. It helps if you keep journals. I've kept Journals since I was 14 years of age and I have been pretty consistent at writing in them. If I've ever wondered how I ended up the way I am all I have to do is read my journals and see all the lousy choices I've made over the years that has arrived me to this nasty point in my life. The hard part is to undo the damages that you have made. Go figure.

Black teen convicted amid racial tensions in US south

by Abbey Brown
Fri Jun 29, 8:31 AM ET

JENA, United States (AFP) - In a case that has exposed racial tensions in the southern United States, a black teenager was convicted of aggravated battery Thursday for a school fight with a white student.

The fight was one of several racial incidents which rocked this central Louisiana town after black students tried to cross the invisible color line and sit on the white side of the school yard last fall.

Students arrived a few days later to find two hangman's nooses dangling from a tree.

Outrage and inter-racial violence followed the decision by a white school superintendent to over-rule the principal's recommendation to expel three white students who were found to have hung the nooses.

Mychal Bell, 17, was among six black students charged with attempted murder for beating a white student.

Bell's charge was dropped to aggravated battery when his trial began Monday, but the attempted murder charges remain for the five other youths.

After deliberating for less than three hours Thursday, an all-white jury returned with a unanimous guilty verdict of aggravated second-degree battery and conspiracy to commit that crime, which carry a maximum sentence of 22 years in jail.

The jury had been given the option to convict on lesser charges.

Bell's father, Marcus Jones, left the courtroom in a rage after the verdict was read, kicking the door and metal detector in the hall. Officers had to restrain him until family intervened and took him outside.

"Blacks do not stand a chance here," family friend Vivian Thompson said of Jena after the guilty verdict. "I want to see justice. This wasn't it."

She and Bell's aunt, Sandra Simmons, said Bell's defense lawyer should have asked for the trial to be moved elsewhere.

"They are going to hang all them boys," Simmons said of the other five still facing attempted murder charges.

The white student, Justin Barker, was badly hurt in the fight, although not to the point of hospitalization.

He was found unconscious with blood coming from his ears and nose after being punched and then kicked repeatedly by a group of black youths, witnesses testified during Bell's trial.

But the charges laid against the black students known as the "Jena Six" were far harsher than those meted out to white students who attacked their black peers, some in the black community have said.

One of the Jena Six, Robert Bailey, was jumped by six to seven white men at a private party in November. Only one of the men was arrested, and he was charged with simple battery.

Two days later, Bailey and friends ran into one of the men involved in the fight at a convenience store, and the man pulled out a shotgun.

Bailey told police he wrestled the gun away in self-defense but Bailey ended up being charged with aggravated battery and theft.

"That's injustice and racism," he said in a recent interview.

The attack on Barker came the next day.

Eleven white students, including Barker, testified Wednesday. Four identified Bell as the one who hit Barker, knocking him unconscious before the others started to kick him.

The town of Jena has fewer than 3,000 people and is made up of 85 percent white and 12 percent black residents, according to the US Census Bureau.

Sentencing for Bell is set for July 31. Trial dates have not yet been set for the other teens.

Idiots should have at least expelled the white students who hung the nooses; might have defused the situation. On the other hand, does that excuse beating the white kid to unconsciousness? No; but is the charge and sentence they seem to be considering 'in line' with what others (particularly white) have received? No. Boy this sucks. If I lived closer, I'd go protest.

I guess we who are on top have to play stupid and not admit the truth, but this is fine. This sort of stupid thing has been going on with every ruling group ever since humans learned to formed groups. But like all of those other groups in the past, this behavior will come back and bite us in our collective asses. You wait and see, or should I say that the brats you are raising now will wait and see.

Did I ever let you all know how much I dislike the human race? Oh wait, I did.

Robert Johnson is crazy because during the 2020 election, Johnson made comments implying that he supported President Trump, stating "where I come out as a businessman, I will take the devil I know over the devil I don't know anytime of the week."
www.cnbc.com/2020/09/30/robert-johnson-i-will-take-the-devil-i-know-do
nt-know-what-biden-will-do.html

He is not a billionaire. He only has $550,000,000. Sagging Viacom and CBS stock, plus investments in real estate, hotels and banks ... have dragged Johnson's net worth to $550 million.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_L._Johnson#cite_note-FORB-1

Johnson's reparations are $14 trillion. The GDP of America is $22.06 trillion (for now).
www.bea.gov/data/gdp/gross-domestic-product

“That's what I propose in this 14 trillion dollar proposal: to provide reparations not only for the sin, or the atonement of the sin, of slavery ... but to cause America to live up to the concept and the notion that this nation was born on the idea of American exceptionalism,” he said.

I know a way to get your vote for reparations: pay white people the white per capita income minus the black per capita income. That's $36,962 for whites and $23,303 for blacks. I got the idea from The Case for Considering Reparations:

In the 1970s, the Yale Law professor Boris Bittker argued in The Case for Black Reparations that a rough price tag for reparations could be determined by multiplying the number of African Americans in the population by the difference in white and black per capita income. That number was $34 billion in 1973, when Bittker wrote his book.

No. It's money. Congress could easily afford to put $13,659 ($36,962 minus $23,303) direct deposited into your bank account to buy your vote for reparations. Unless you are too proud to take the money.

Fuck that shit.

I've never been a racist and my family history has been so short in the USA that I can guarantee you that we NEVER had anything to do with slavery, on either side.

But just to show you how fucked up the idea is ...

Will recent immigrants from S and Central America be forced to pay reparations?

Immigrants from China? India? Pakistan?

What about descendants of people who fought on the Union side? Will they get some sort of exemption for their ancestors having fought- and often dying- to free the slaves?

And what about "mixed race" people? Will THEy get reparations depedent on how much "Negro blood" they have?

And given the history of procreation between slaves and owners, will descendants of slave-owner relationships have to pay reparations to .... themselves???

WHAT A STUPID IDEA! And racist, too!

This is just extortion money paid to blacks so they won't riot and burn shit down. It's rewarding people for not working.

I HAVE A MUCH BETTER IDEA.

What about if we take that $14 trillion and invest in ... steel mills? Textiles? Automobile manufacturing? Smaller farms? Machining?

We're a bankrupt nation. Many times over. Congress can't afford the ink the FED prints on the money, or the paper it's printed on. Good for them that they wouldn't have to and it would just be 1's and 0's put in everybody's bank accounts.

And what's with this 1/2 shit anyway? Once the blacks that were actually looking for reparations find out that white people were getting half of that money you know that the handouts wouldn't have solved anything at all.

to buy your vote for reparations.

We didn't directly buy votes for money until the Biden* administration handed out the $1,400 stimulus after promising it before the Georgia elections, post-election. They should all be in prison for buying votes now.

If something like what you are suggesting were actually to occur and only whites who voted for reparations got money then they definitely would all be going to prison.

"We should do all manufacturing here, at home." Do you know any corporation that has the goal you stated? Do you know any American who has that goal and is in a position to make it happen? There might be a few. I've seen stuff with "Proudly Made In America" stickers, for example, this: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BR1BLHM/ My purchase price in June was $16.99 , but at this moment in July it is $33.99. I am unsure if that new price will remain that high, but if the price doubled to keep it "Proudly Made In America" then MaxPower won't be selling too many more lawnmower blades.

There is one American who is known for caring as much about his employees as himself: Dan Price. https://twitter.com/DanPriceSeattle/status/1365361283986575360

Dan Price @DanPriceSeattle
6 years ago today I raised my company's min wage to $70k. Fox News called me a socialist whose employees would be on bread lines.
https://twitter.com/DanPriceSeattle/status/1382018355985588228

Dan Price is very controversial because he highly pays his employees.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Price#References

"We should do all manufacturing here, at home." That will only happen if Corporations like PowerMax become commonplace. Until then the Federal government will have to pay corporations to do all manufacturing here. I think that is no more likely to pass Congress than paying reparations.

Try harder, Signym. Your answers explain nothing about why American businesses are not run to create more and more jobs. If the Federal government pays business to create jobs, then it will happen but if government won't pay then American business will continue toward its much different goal of decreasing the number of jobs all the way to the minimum technologically possible. It happened in farming and continues. It happened in mining and continues. It happened in petrochemical manufacturing and continues. It happens wherever there are engineers building labor saving devices for industry.

Thorstein Veblen has nothing useful to say about productivity. He was writing sociology about rich people. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thorstein_Veblen

Industry will NOT create more jobs because productivity is constantly rising. The number of jobs is always decreasing, unless there is a war or a climate change catastrophe to be averted or a government financed building boom or the rich decide they need bigger mansions, because engineers put their minds to do away with jobs. It's their job! Veblen knew nothing about that.
www.bls.gov/lpc/prodybar.htm

I'll show you how jobs are created: Cigar.com has 10 cigars for $49.99. If I buy 10 cigars a week, and smoke 'em, assuming I am crazy, within a few years I will have cancer/emphysema and will thus create jobs in the healthcare industry if I act irresponsibly enough. Alternatively, I could decide to enlarge my house, or build another, or remove carpets and replace the floors with wood, thus creating jobs. There are many ways to create jobs, and the creation starts with spending money wastefully without thinking very clearly. The Federal government is perfect for creating jobs. It can create money, as much as it wants, and spend it as stupidly and inefficiently to create many, many jobs, much like my cigar buying and smoking example.

On second thought, a less wasteful idea is spending trillions to halt climate change and, at the very same time, create millions of high paying and meaningful jobs.

Some decisions? It has always been completely obvious that no important decisions can be left to Capitalists to make since Capitalistic decisions are only about money, nothing more. If it was up to Capitalism, slavery would have never ended, at least nominally. Plenty of low paying jobs look to me exactly the same as slavery with the exception that the Capitalists don't care what happens to their slaves because they don't own the slaves and can't trade them for money.

Capitalists will never in a million years decide to stop climate change. The Federal government can pay Capitalists to stop climate change from killing off the Earth, but Capitalists would never do it for any other reason than money. Same with creating jobs. The Capitalists will do it only if you pay them. Capitalistic decision-making is robotic/mechanical. If you think it was human, you are sadly mistaken.

Even in so-called “Communist” China, Capitalism’s robot logic makes people unhappy:

www.usatoday.com/story/money/2021/07/04/china-communist-party-chinese-
workers-leaving-careers/7859674002
/

Money isn't everything. China's Communist Party isn't too chill about it

Fed up with work stress, Guo Jianlong quit a newspaper job in Beijing and moved to China’s mountain southwest to “lie flat.”

Mr. Guo joined a small but visible handful of Chinese urban professionals who are rattling the ruling Communist Party by rejecting grueling careers for a “low-desire life.” That is clashing with the party’s message of success and consumerism as it celebrates the 100th anniversary of its founding.

“Work was OK, but I didn’t like it much,” Mr. Guo said. “What is wrong with doing your own thing, not just looking at the money?”

“Lying flat” is a “resistance movement” to a “cycle of horror” from high-pressure Chinese schools to jobs with seemingly endless work hours, novelist Liao Zenghu wrote in Caixin, the country’s most prominent business magazine.

“In today’s society, our every move is monitored and every action criticized,” Mr. Liao wrote. “Is there any more rebellious act than to simply ‘lie flat?’”

It isn’t clear how many people have gone so far as to quit their jobs or move out of major cities. Judging by packed rush-hour subways in Beijing and Shanghai, most young Chinese slog away at the best jobs they can get.

Still, the ruling party is trying to discourage the trend. Beijing needs skilled professionals to develop technology and other industries. China’s population is getting older and the pool of working-age people has shrunk by about 5% from its 2011 peak.

“Struggle itself is a kind of happiness,” the newspaper Southern Daily, published by the party, said in a commentary. “Choosing to ‘lie flat’ in the face of pressure is not only unjust but also shameful.”

The trend echoes similar ones in Japan and other countries where young people have embraced anti-materialist lifestyles in response to bleak job prospects and bruising competition for shrinking economic rewards.

Official data show China’s economic output per person doubled over the past decade, but many complain the gains went mostly to a handful of tycoons and state-owned companies. Professionals say their incomes are failing to keep up with soaring housing, child care, and other costs.

In a sign of the issue’s political sensitivity, four professors who were quoted by the Chinese press talking about “lying flat” declined to discuss it with a foreign reporter.

Another possible sign of official displeasure: T-shirts, mobile phone cases, and other “Lie Flat”-themed products are disappearing from online sales platforms.

Urban employees complain that work hours have swelled to “9 9 6,” or 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., six days a week.

“We generally believe slavery has died away. In fact, it has only adapted to the new economic era,” a woman who writes under the name Xia Bingbao, or Summer Hailstones, said on the Douban social media service.

Well, that's the problem of capitalism, even if you only have a little bit of it in your economy. Having a small bit of it means you take longer to get to your economic death spiral, but you will, indeed, get there.

BTW, this isn't a new theory, or a communistic one. Western economists were discussing capitalism's ultimate moribund destination as far back as the late 1800's, before Das Capital even existed, and what might be done to try and delay it.

Did you notice that the Communist Chinese version of Capitalism has all the same shortcomings of American-brand Capitalism, except the Chinese work from 9 A.M to 9 P.M. six days per week? It is a flaw in Capitalism, as practiced in China and America, when most of the money goes to the top 1% and most of the misery goes to the bottom 50%. I have known this since I worked at Burger King as a 13 year old in 1965. But Burger King did have all the french fries and milk shakes I can steal, so that helped me adjust to the hard Capitalistic world.

Did you ever see any movies about Ebenezer Scrooge, the Capitalist? Capitalism does not set any boundaries for what Scrooge could do with his money or what he could do to his employees with that money. So, what changed since Dickens wrote A Christmas Tale? Unlike in Dickens, I'm sure it wasn't that Capitalists became better Christians. I'm pretty sure government placed rules against Scrooge's behavior. There needs to be more rules, better enforced:

www.forbes.com/sites/sarahhansen/2021/06/24/peter-thiel-has-accumulate
d-5-billion-in-a-tax-free-roth-ira-designed-to-help-the-middle-class-save-for-retirement-according-to-new-report
/

I picked Peter Thiel because he is a famous whiner against government and a big supporter of Trump. At this point, the Trumptards get angry because in their belief system Trump is for them. Then I remember Bob Cratchit in A Christmas Tale was very loyal and hardworking for Ebenezer Scrooge. As a child I always wondered what the hell was wrong with Cratchit more than with Scrooge, since there are obvious reasons for Scrooge to be a greedy Capitalist but not so obvious to a child why Cratchit should believe in Scrooge. After many decades of close observation, I now know Cratchits and Trumptards inside out. They don't know themselves, but the Trumps and the Scrooges and the Peter Thiels know how to push their buttons.

No, I am not. If you remember A Christmas Tale, Ebenezer Scrooge is not the same man at the end of the story as he was at the beginning. That is the entire point of the story! His Soul is Saved by fear of Christmas Future. I am the best imaginable Scrooge. I am also a hardcore Capitalist, same as Scrooge, but Tiny Tim knows me as generous, especially at Bah humbug Christmas. If Dickens was writing A Christmas Tale for a modern audience he would have to change Scrooge and Cratchit. Instead of Cratchit having a poor but large and loving family, Crachit would be single/divorced. It would be Scrooge who has the large and loving family in the modern day version. Also in the modernized version Scrooge and Cratchit would not be working in the same room. They might not even see each other during all the years they work at the same company. Modern day Capitalist Scrooge knows not that employee Crachit and her one child are living in poverty.

The privileged people in America are the Scrooges, who tend to be White, not the Cratchites, who tend to be poor white trash and non-Whites. At the beginning of A Christmas Carol, Cratchit didn't even have a name. He was just 'clerk' until the fifth and final chapter. All of Scrooge's Capitalist thinking was about saving his precious little soul from going to Hell for the previous 4 Chapters, nothing about his clerk Cratchit's welfare. Scrooge is a very privileged guy who didn't give a damn about anybody but himself, which is a very Capitalist way of thinking.

If A Christmas Carol had been steered more toward Cratchit, the poor white trash, Scrooge would have been very upset. How dare that clerk appear in my story, which should be all about me, Me, ME and my Immortal Soul! The privileged Americans of today really don't like being reminded that their Cratchites, either the non-White kind or the poor white trash kind, are kicked around by the privileged American Scrooges, most of whom falsely deny they are privileged or that they kick around their employees.

You write in abstractions, Signym. I will use an abstraction: You can't build a fair system when the functional components of this system are people with less attractive forms of mental maladies.

The way I see it is that privileged American Scrooge characters -- the ones I am familiar with are as crazy as Dickens' Scrooge was at his very worst -- will say that Scrooge worked hard to become successful, while Bob Cratchit is a lazy, worthless character, therefore Scrooge is enraged against Cratchit, saying something on the line of Why should I pay Cratchit more? Why are my taxes spent on lazy Cratchit? Why does Cratchit's stupid children get into colleges that my smart children can't? Why is Cratchit allowed to vote? Why is Cratchit allowed to walk free? Why does Crachit live in my neighborhood? Occasionally the Scrooges of America stop talking about their anger and actually attack the Cratchits or quietly cheat the Cratchits, then brag to other Scrooges about how dumb the Cratchits are.

In A Christmas Carol, Scrooge becomes a 100% different man, but American Scrooges can't alter their behavior even 1%, which is real life tragedy for America:
Quote:

Scrooge was better than his word. He did it all, and infinitely more; and to Tiny Tim, who did not die, he was a second father. He became as good a friend, as good a master, and as good a man, as the good old city knew, or any other good old city, town, or borough, in the good old world. Some people laughed to see the alteration in him, but he let them laugh, and little heeded them; for he was wise enough to know that nothing ever happened on this globe, for good, at which some people did not have their fill of laughter in the outset; and knowing that such as these would be blind anyway, he thought it quite as well that they should wrinkle up their eyes in grins, as have the malady in less attractive forms. His own heart laughed: and that was quite enough for him.

Finally being allowed to Name-The-Jew after all those years of frustration is what finally drove Radioman Pirate News crazy? Screeching and Roaring at some old Judge when he got caught with a speeding ticket

Think very hard now what other group or religion might have been making profit off the slave trade back in those days...Let's think back and count some groups... there were Spanish bear those island, the British got to those New Americas islands started putting up Churches, the French...I wonder who else what other merchant class could have been involved ... Fast forward to today....its ok for BLM and Native Rioters and Communist Bolsevik Antifa Looters to smash certain Churches and Statues in the USA and Canada but what of the something else, another religion type were they recently given their own country almost 100 yrs ago and then all this back and forth happened between them and the old crazy jihads...that other group...who could they be now?
some of them are not even really religious they are kinda Atheist and Degenerate at times...maybe they even pray to some other Occult Babylon thing
Would ya look at that Clintons, Bush and Trumps the daughters sold off and all married to 'Greatest Ally'

just as they did in Old Times when beaten Kings sold off their daughters
