I was watching my Tivo edition of the evening news tonight and saw the Carl Rove has offically left the White House. I don't know if he is leaving to not get is butt investigated, but his timing seemed a little off.

I just love the fact that he and Bush are spending their "summer vacation" together down in Texes.

Just wondering what you guys thought.

How is the timing " a little off " ?? He's served the President for 2 terms, and even before that, going back to when Bush first ran for Governor of Texas, back in 1993. W has a little more than a year left in his administration, where Rove's job definitively comes to and end. Why wait ? He's done his job, it's time to move on.

As for investigations, that's more a commentary on the absurdity of the Democrats in D.C. Rove appeared before the grand jury 5 times, and nothing came of it. Nodda. Time for the Dems to admit defeat and get over it.
