Ms. L’Engle (pronounced LENG-el) was best known for her children’s classic, “A Wrinkle in Time,” which won the John Newbery Award as the best children’s book of 1963.

Ditto. I was just coming over here to post this.

When I was young, I kinda leapt right from chap books to full-length novels, so I never read Wrinkle until I took a children's lit course in University. It's one of the few books from my time there that I categorically refuse to sell.
