Okay, if it could guarantee another one of those, I might be in...

I often wonder why it is that we don't hold these imbeciles to their word when they say stupid shit like, "If Bush wins again, I'm leaving the country". Seriously. The day after the election, INS/ICE shows up at his doorstep, tells him to pack up whatever he can carry, and escorts his ass to the border. :)

I'm as lefty-liberal as they come, but if you're going to make stupid promises, you really should keep them. Baldwin, you said you were leaving. Get out. Or should I say, "Get out, you rude, thoughtless little pig!"

Actually it is the Democrats who are most likely to reinstate the draft. There have been two Democratic Senators who've been pushiong for the reinstatement of the draft since either the 1990s and as soon as the Democrats became a majority again they tried to vote on it until Nancy Pelosi squashed it for being the wrong time.

I'm voting Republican because as far as I know that's the ticket that my man RP is still on.

But i've been so out of the political loop for a while that I don't even know if that's the case anymore. I'm already sold. I don't even need to know. I know I'm voting for him wherever he ends up, so I'm not going to bother listening to any news for the rest of the summer. I really can't at work much anymore with the crackdown on the internet workside, and I've always chosen not to get that much news when I'm not working. So I'll be taking this oppurtunity to distance myself from the crappy news about things happening that I can't really change, happening in 90% or more of the cases to people I don't know personally, and just a bunch of overall depressing stuff.

Call me a dumb rube, but I'm a lot happier for it.

Of course I'm well aware of the problems that are effecting me, like the higher price of everything from corn on the cob and smokes to Hummers and trips to Disneyland. I know how they effect those I know and care about too. These are our problems now. I choose to stop being distracted by the puppet masters and just live.

Ask yourself... in 16 years, will it even matter who won the presidental election this year with the choices we've been given? My vote is no. Sure, the next 4 or 8 years could vary drastically depending on who wins, but my bet is that 100 years from now, that on the face of it all, things are going to look pretty much the same either way and people then will only be thinking about themselves and how the next 4 or 8 years will effect them too.

I know my candidate so I'm stepping aside and letting everybody else throw their feelings and witticisms at each other.

It's cute, really.... We've evolved from Civil Wars to petty Trollism in internet blogs. I'm not making any judgements. For all I really know maybe we'll all be better for it in the end.

Just remember there are a lot of guys and gals over and above the petty squabbling with a lot more money and resources than most of us have who are making laws and changing right and wrong for us everyday while the bickering goes on.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that when the terrorists don't have to hide from us over there, they will come over here I don't want to have any guns in the house to fight them off with.

I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whomever I want. I've decided to marry my mother.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.
I'm voting Republican because they look forward to Armageddon.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.
I'm voting Republican because businesses are superior and deserve more tax benefits, freedom of speech, and legal rights than mere people

I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.
I'm voting Republican because I believe that three or four pointy-headed right-wing Administrative officials should be able to tear up the Constitution any time they want.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that when the terrorists don't have to hide from us over there, they will come over here I don't want to have any guns in the house to fight them off with.
I'm voting Republican because I believe it is my God-given right to invade any nation I choose. And when they get pissed off about it, I'll show them my automatic.

I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whomever I want. I've decided to marry my mother.
I'm voting Republican because I believe that anal sex isn't sex at all, if you're saving yourself for marriage.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.
I'm voting Republican because I believe that we should sacrifice 3 trillion dollars, 4000 lives and 40,000 healthy bodies to make the Mideast safe for our oil compnies.

PIRATENEWS

John Lee, conspiracy therapist at Hollywood award-winner History Channel-mocked SNL-spoofed PirateNew.org wooHOO!!!!!!

I'm voting Democrat because:

I want to kill 500,000 Iraqi babies and bomb Iraq every 4 days for 8 years and call it "peace".

I want to bomb Christian churches in USA and call it "gun control".

I want to shoot mommies in the head and shoot kids in the back and call it "law enforcment".

I want to bomb federal buildings and call it "anti-terrorism".

I want to kill another 50 million babies to make room for another 50 million illegal aliens.

We haven't finished outsourcing America.

I want my president to have a list of aliases.

I want my president to wear lapel pins of Communist and Israeli flags.

We need to replace the US flag with a Big O.

40 years in Congress is Change.

Bush and Cheney's black cousin is Change (just like Clarence Thomas).

Being a citizen of a foreign country is the best foreign policy experience.

Military experience is bad for a commander in chief.

I want a military draft to invade Iran.

Electing a dope-smokin homo crack ho was good enough for Republicans.

"In a February interview with MTV, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin lavished praise on maverick Republican presidential contender Ron Paul. She had a few nice things to say about another GOP candidate, Mitt Romney. But Palin made no mention of John McCain. The governor described the anti-war, libertarian-leaning congressman from Texas as 'cool.' 'He's a good guy,' she continued. 'He's so independent. He's independent of the party machine. I'm like, ‘Right on, so am I.'"
