Anyone seen McSame's latest commercial?

Quote:

Washington's broken. John McCain knows it. We're worse off than we were four years ago.

Now why'd he want to point out that Washington - where he's been for the last 30 years - is broken, or that Bush's policies have resulted in abject failure? What did Bush ever do to him?

Discuss among yourselves.

Don't squat with your spurs on.

He's going back to the Maverick angle. Won't matter much to me, if Obama selects Biden for VP, I'm going to sit out or vote for McCain.

I can't stand Biden. He sold us out with the bankruptcy bill and he's a plagarist.

CLEARLY he's talking about Congress , and it's 9% approval rating under Pelosi and Reid.

p.s. And as for the 'McSame' nonsense..... why is it the Dems feel the need to dumb down EVERY DAMN THING into bumper sticker mentality ?

So it's your position that John McCain has NOT been in the U.S. Congress since 1983? If Washington is indeed broken, he's a large part of the reason for it, having been there for over 25 years.

And I wasn't aware that the Democrats had been in control of Congress for the last four years. His ad doesn't say "the last two years" - it says "four years", during part of which time he and his Republican cohorts still had control of the House and Senate, and Bush had the Presidency.

As for the "bumper sticker mentality" - who was it that came out with the tire pressure gauges that said "Obama's Energy Plan" on them? Oh yeah - it must've been the Democrats... you know, those same Democrats who gave us such great "bumper sticker" slogans as "We do not negotiate with terrorists," "Read my lips; no new taxes," "Bring it on," "Mission Accomplished" and so many others.

Or maybe it wasn't the Democrats after all. Hmmmm...

McCain is a joke. At this point, he's nothing but a noun, a verb, and POW.

Thank ya vurrah much...

The countrys' citizens' mental health must be the priority here. We cannot have huge segments of the population either jumping out the window, or running to the shrink on taxpayer money. If Obama is President, everybody in the world is going to like us, and I can sleep well at night knowing that. Additionally, with the new "era of good feeling" upon us there is a stronger liklihood that Firefly will come back. America will rejoin the world community under Obama, and with worldy resources available getting the series or a movie back will be a lot more probable.

I like the way you think!

A vote for Obama is a vote for Firefly/Serenity!

Hey, a fan! Well somebody's gotta look beyond the obvious political aspects of this election right? Obama becomes President, and at his Inauguration speech Obama declares that one of his Administration's priorities will be getting Firefly back into production, and somehow getting Hannah Montana on that ship's crew, with a Taliban body guard. She's sort of a companion without the companionship, but her concerts allow Mal and gang to get into places they couldn't get into even with Inara. The ratings would go through the roof, especially in Pakistan and Iran. And Afghanistan, forget about it!...those folks are crazy nuts for Miley Cyrus. She's their national hero, they actually have a Miley Day, a holy day when they cannot beat up their wives or daughters no matter what! For America... No more war, no more blood for oil, no more torture of prisoners, no more spying on citizens....just the Best Of Both Worlds, and we're not talking simply Persephone and Jianying.

Firefly premired in 2002 following Bush's victory in 2000 (with a short delay for 9/11).

Serenity was released in 2005, following Bush's reelection.

The obvious conclusion is that we get some form of Firefly when the Republicans win elections.

I also note that there have been no new Firefly movies or TV shows since Nanci Pelosi and the Democrats took control of Congress in 2006.

In fact, given the Democratic Party's hatred of FOX it is unlikely they will allow the production of any Bush-era FOX programming.

Now that I've settled that excuse me so I can get back to working on my theory about the Battlestar Galactica/Islamic Terrorism connection (how Galactica 1980 led to the fall of the Shah).

I know, like when people say things like "areas that are mostly black or hispanic are crime-ridden ghettos."

Made-up numbers? Let's see... Bush's popularity hovers around 18%... Some 67% of people think the country is headed in the wrong direction under Bush... There are just over three hundred million Americans... So 67% of 300,000,000 works out to somewhere in the neighborhood of TWO HUNDRED MILLION Americans who think Bush is taking the country in the wrong direction, and some 240 million who disapprove of his performance.

That's a lot of "hate", folks. A LOT.

And, for the record, "Bush-haters" is the term the righties here have given to anyone who voices the SLIGHTEST disapproval of King George.

So, yeah... HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of "Bush-haters". And that's just in his own country! The rest of the world thinks he's an even bigger douchebag than we do.

But thanks for playin'. It's just so cute when you try your hardest to make a coherent point...

McCain's paid $100-million to take a dive. Just like Kerry was paid $40-million to take a dive in 2004, and Gore was paid $10-million to take a dive in 2000. Note the inflation. Politicians get to keep their "leftover campaign contributions", tax-free, by setting up their own "charity foundation", with them and their family spending 95% of funds on their own salaries and lifestyle. This is felony money laundering if done without a corporate shell game.

That's the deal Bush made with the DemoRats to avoid impeachment and arrest. Pay attention.

That's why the DemoRats are cheering in Denver, depsite all the pathetic speeches. Over 20-million DemoRats will now get overpaid govt jobs as reward for their votes.

I know because I used to be a member of that criminal gang. I was told who to hire and fire based on The List (voter registration and election voting record).

Remember that Ron Paul won Lousiana with 80% of the vote, so the LA GOP banned 60% of registered Republican votes in the primary. Paul officially finished 2nd in Lousisiana.

Seems that only a flood caused by FEMA bombers and a Clinton barge is capable of awakening sheeple from their slumber.
