Talk about evading the argument with ad hominem! It's not just me, Finn. Gawd, you ARE a tool!

Lookit, just admit to yourself that you're wrong, drop it and move on.

Here is PM Tony' Blair's implicit understanding that Resolutions typically supersede each other, and that R1441 supersedes previous resolutions (which is why he was so unhappy with R1441 and its implementation)
Quote:

Prime Minister Blair: ... So when people say haven't we exhausted all the diplomatic avenues, we tried exhausting. But understand from our perspective and from the perspective of the security of the world, we cannot simply go back to the Security Council, for this discussion to be superseded by that discussion, to be superseded by another discussion. That's what's happened for 12 years. ...

I have a vote and I'm not afraid to use it!

McCain talking points:

Funny that it reflects what MSM was saying. BTW - please keep in mind these are 'TALKING POINTS' ONLY and not statements of fact. In reality, McCain had NOT contacted the Obama campaign, did NOT call for bipartisan meetings, did NOT have the authority to do anything (except pose with the President), and voted FOR the bill he claims to not have supported.

Also, McCain's campaign neither stopped advertising nor fundraising efforts. They DID pretty much stop fundraising, but that's only because no one is supporting a dead campaign anymore. No sense putting any more lipstick on that dead pig. ;)

You need to look this word up. Calling you on your faulty argument is not an ad hominem. You calling me a tool is.

Finn, what happened to your common sense? The meaning of R1441 and its citations is clear. It was clear to me, it was clear to the WH, and it was clear to Tony Blair. Shall I quote them again for you?

Ah, what the heck... Why not?
Quote:

Prime Minister Blair: "... So when people say haven't we exhausted all the diplomatic avenues, we tried exhausting. That's what's happened for 12 years. ..."
You see? Even Blair says that the various resolutions were superseding each other. You, OTOH, have got - nothing- supporting your position any member nation could decide on its own to enforce whatever resolution they chose at whatever time they chose.

So you agree with Bush and Blair. It’s nice to see you finally come around.

I also agree with the rest of the UN: Resolution 1441 superseded the previous Resolutions. And because Resolution 1441 DID NOT authorize invading Iraq, the US invasion WAS NOT IN ANY WAY authorized by the UN.

Glad you see my point!

And quite frankly, any further argument on this point is only going to make you look dumber than a sack of rocks. And I know you're smarter than that!

I see. So where the Iraq War is concerned you agree with Bush. That's all I wanted to know.

Wow! Where did you get THAT from? Oh yeah... it was your own desperate brain talking to you!

To painstakingly clarify: I agree with Bush and Blair that the UN Resolutions concerning Iraq superseded each other. I disagree with them on almost every other point they made about Iraq.

Finn, man. Take a deep breath and calm down. You're going to regret burning your credibility and respect on that ridiculous argument. The only point you're making right now is that you're either drunk or you've gone off a mental cliff.

Let it go.

Seems that where Bush and the Iraq War are concerned, the White House agrees with the UN that the invasion and occupation of Iraq were not sanctioned.

So I guess that means Bush agrees with US.

Looks like you're left out in the cold, Finn.

I can't speak for Finn, but even Dickhead Morris just said on Bill O' that if McCain hammers on taxes he my gain a few points everyday then overtake Obama.

Only desperate Conservatives would need to believe that enough to consider it part of reality.
