Given that Ellis was never secretive about Spider being a reflection of himself and his views (if you know much about they guy, they are pretty much the same), and the fact that he supports Obama, I doubt you are correct.

Thanks for the heads-up - I'll see if I can get tickets! Last time I went to Austin City Limits, it was to see Richard Thompson. Simply amazing. And free beer. :)

Iron and Wine is fantastic. Sam Beam has relocated to hear, and now lives out in Dripping Springs, right outside Austin.
