A time machine so I could go back in time to get the invisibility belt.

An invisibility belt, so that I can sneak into your house and steal the time machine.

Sorry, those answers don't cut it.

You cannot have both. This is an exersize in imagination and purpose.

Try again.

An invisibility belt, for all the obvious reasons (and some sneaky ones I'm not at liberty to divulge).

You were busy trying to get yourself lit on fire. It happens.

As tempting as the time machine is, I'd have to go with the invisibility belt. I'd use it to lurk in meatspace like I do on the Internet.

It'd be the Time Machine. I'd go back to the fifties and make all those great sci-fi films that I love and pretend they were my ideas :D

What invisibility belt ?

Neither.

I could not be trusted with either technology.

With a time-machine, I'd cause some uber-butterfly effect and the whole world would implode.

And with an invisibility belt, I'd be like that guy on X-Files who gets a wish from a genie and wishes to be invisible. Then he takes his clothes off, runs out and promptly gets hit by a truck. I'm not so sure about the naked part, but I'm sure I'd get run over eventually.

No thanks, I'm good.

America loves a winner!

At first, the idea of getting into all manner of mischief, and being a burglar, much like Bilbo with the ONE ring, seems appealing. But given the chances to go back in time, I mean back into DEEP time, ... say 70 million yrs.

Seriously, Cretaceous Park would so rock beyond belief.

I'm obviously not up on current slang, so what's meatspace?

Not a bad idea. Maybe you could even date Faith Domergue or Barbera Rush.

I've revised my classification policy. I'm now not at liberty to divulge any of the reasons for choosing the invisibility belt.

As well, I've decided to embark on a disinformation campaign, so please sign me up for the time machine!
