Jail is about torture, not rehab, to manufacture better criminals to justify higher taxes for a police state.

Sounds like she only borrowed a car from her family, not actual car theft fro ma stranger.

Cops are the biggest carthieves, using their mafia towing contractors. Nobody suspects a wrecker towings a car.

This makes the 4th such video I've seen of some cops crossing the red line when dealing with a 14 or 15 year old. Things like this keep happening because there is an unspoken agreement in society that allows it to go on. Many people on a subconscious level believe that if you do the crime then you should be abused on some level. Sure they make a big deal about it in the news for 1 week, and then the cops go back to abusing people.

The cops who are caught doing this sort of thing always seems to demonstrate a certain arrogance, like they KNOW that it is their right to do this, and not much will happen to them. They act as though they will never have to answer to higher authority.

The same unspoken agreement with society also exists with the prison system in regards to prison rape. Many people believe that prison rape happens, and they also believe on a subconscious level that prison rape is part of the "payment" to society for your crimes, and this is why it happens.

I on a very, disturbing level really hate, Earth and its misguided, and petty, spiteful populace.

Been there, done that, it's why I want OFF this stinkin rock, yanno ?

And it damn sure doesn't help matters that teens, or at least those under age of majority, are considered sub-human both legally and socially, about on the level of pets, of course if you did half the stuff you can legally do to your kids to your pet instead, you'd be charged, ain't that a ringer, eh ?

We maybe start treating our youths as human beings, perhaps they might start regarding us as such, for once - it'd save all manner of trouble, but one reason they don't is because they've not been caught in the trap yet, not up to their ass in debt and fully dependant on the very system that's fucking them over to the point where they're screwed either way.

I mean, does it ever occur to folks that young people despise us, our society and legal structure quite possibly for damn good reasons ?

Well, in their defense, the cops did say "she was gettin' lippy" with them, so I guess she totally deserved it, right?

[sarcasm]
I mean, there's no other way to deal with a lippy 15-year-old girl, other than to beat her ass and smack her around a bit.

Right?

I wonder how that cop would feel if some large man abused the cops daughter like the cop abused that girl?

Eerily astute observation.

I'm all for Obama wanting to walk the high ground in the world again. But, in earnest, Moral Leadership starts at home. And this ain't it.

Oh, he'd doubtless kill the guy, or at least very much WANT to kill the guy.

Yeah, watch the unhappy ex-football jock get back at the chick that dumped him at the prom.

That's what happens when you give the thugs badges. Then you have to give them awards for not killing anyone in the situations they get in trouble for to cover it up.
They give you a better psych evaluation before you work at Target.

This society that blindly trusts authority is the more direct cause.
Those cops should be in prison, not on the job.

Of course Obama was/is not the reason those cops acted out of hand with that girl; why would you think he is? Obama just happens to be the one who wants America to reclaim its former position as moral leader in the world. And I say that's gonna be hard to sell with these kind of abuses taking place at home, is all. Not saying Obama is wrong in his desire (far from it, actually); just sayin' that credible moral leadership works best when wrought from the inside-out.

Very true, but this sort of thing has been going on as long as I've been alive, and we've gone through many presidents, and nothing has change, no, wait! Things have changed now because it is happening to us. In minority communities this sort of thing was common, but the majority population didn't care what so ever. Now it's happening to us, and the outrage! *Sarcasm*

Kennedy got a cap in his ass because he was trying to change fundamental things about this country that we had been doing for a long time, and getting away with it, and STILL are doing. In my mind this is why Kennedy got wasted. He tried to do the right thing and got taken down.

The authorities below the government are not about to stop kicking civilians around THEIR way because they've been doing it THEIR way for years and as far as they are concerned THEIR way works. If the people at the top of this new government continue to push very nice, but unworkable, lofty ideas, the head guy (Obama) might find a cap in his ass, and the rest of the government, and its people will continue business as usual meaning us getting the crapped kicked out of us and the authorities looking the other way.

Thank god we live in an era where phone cams, web, cams, and security cams are everywhere, so we at least have a chance at catching these jackals in the act, so at least they have to now do a song and dance to get out of being charged whereas before down he years they would get away scot free because no one ever heard about it, or it was happening to a minority population, so no one cared.

Oh well, not my problem. I'm moving out of this hell called America, and while I'm at it I'm going to renounce my citizenship for good measure.
