Ironically enough , that little ship is exactly the same as the ' Mosquito ' RC helo , for which parts are relatively cheap and plentiful...

The difference is the color...The Mosquito is basic black , whereas the YingHuo ' Firefly ' seems to favor an orangey color scheme...

DO get one for the office , they're an absolute hoot...

Better still , if you can , get a couple or three of them , each with the separate RC frequency...That way , one can charge whilst you fly another , because they do take a while to get their juice on...Or , better still , you and a buddy can have
' chopper wars ' inside the office...

Forget about flying it outdoors , or even indoors near a fan or heating/ventilation outlet...They can't handle the drafts , and they're challenging even without random air currents...

And get a stack of cheap spares , because although they're well-engineered , they're also lightly-built and you WILL be crashing sooner or later...

Search eBay for Mosquito RC helicopter...

Actually I got one that's shaped more like a conventional helicopter from a local hobby shop for $29.99 - they wanted too much for the Skeeter, like eighty bucks, bleh.

The mistake the guy in the vid was makin was throwin his control levers long, and not realizing that air is a fluid medium and less responsive to inertia than something in contact with the ground.

I'm actually pretty handy with the wretched little thing, and while this little toy is way too small to carry a camera, it is givin me business-related "ideas", heh heh heh.

Pretty quiet too, with enough ambient noise and a distracted victim you can sneak it up on somebody - I attached a paperclip bent into an L-hook and jacked someones car keys right off their desk yesterday, that was damn funny.
"HEY!!*grab-whiff*you ass!"

I have a MUCH larger one in my garage, a Century Bell .30 scale model traded in for a full workover on a scooter, but never got around to trying to fly it cause the RC unit looks seriously freakin complicated and the idea of wrecking it fills me with horror.

Although now, like I said... "ideas" - some lights and a wireless webcam, and that might be a right useful thing to have handy for a security company.

It cannot be said enough, those who do not learn from history, are doomed to endlessly repeat it
