Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Yes, we've discussed animal intelligence elsewhere, but someone posted one of these on our website and I just couldn't resist.

Dolphins have a great sense of play...here they are playing with "bubble rings"; one of the people says they must teach each other this trick, but I've found many videos of it of both wild and captive dolphins, so I'm not sure if they "teach" one another, or if it's a game they all know:

Catch this one, if you don't watch any others; it's really fun. Their hunting skills impress me; examples of the kind of intelligence we were discussing. Here they are "surrounding" fish in the shallows with "nets" of mud:

Whales hunt in much the same manner, using bubbles as "nets":

And dolphins hunt with bubbles, too, in a somewhat different manner. I really like this one, you can HEAR the clicks and vocalizations they make:

Certainly we can't question their intelligence, just from these things alone. Considering we've been hunting them for centuries, I'm in awe of their tolerance, friendliness and gentleness with us. Again, with wild dolphins here you can hear the sounds they make and see how gentle they are with the humans:

Anything not legally recognized as human is food.
I think Hero would back me up on this.
