I thought most folk did - they passed it off as a "whoopsie", much like IBM, but for a fact the american corporations of the time were rabidly pro-fascist, to the point of damn near staging a coup (See Also: Business Plot) to get their way.

That's one of the reasons they backed Franco, cause they felt he knew how to handle those dirty anarcho-union-commies who dared to want enough to live on in exchange for their work - which, even back in 1908, is kind of what that "red scare" bullshit was all about, Corps vs Labor, and what Fascism did was put the power of the Gov in the hands of the corporations.

And when you review just what has HAPPENED every time a corporation and labor have come to blows, there's no sense denying the fascists won, even here in america, is there ?

Of *course* they are pro-fascist, every corporate structure is based on the aristocratic-feudal model, lords and peons, it's just another name for the same old game, and THAT goes back to Plato pointing out to Socrates that they couldn't lounge around and consume all the resources unless they put in a system to protect themselves from the people whos resources they were taking.

But yanno, it ain't OVER yet - nothin ever is.

Fox quite clearly DID exist in 1932, since they were off making nice with Hitler at that time. They were founded in 1915 as Fox Films. To put "studios" or "20th century" in the thread title would have been "stupid", since that merger didn't happen until 1935.

This was Fox. This IS Fox. They may have merged a time or two, and changed CEOs, but the overarching need to back fascists and tyrants will never cease. It's why you worship them!
