OF COURSE the Chamber of Commerce used foreign money to finance campaign ads. They took in millions of foreign dollars and put it into the same bank account they wrote checks out of to pay for campaign ads. Anyone who thinks they somehow managed to keep those particular dollars from paying for the ads is either stupid or delusional. Or Rappy, who's both.

Money is fungible. If you're a drug dealer, and you're taking drug money and putting it into your bank account, and you've got a day job as well, and put THAT money into the same account, do you really think the court's going to listen to you when you try to claim that yeah, you bought a new house, but you didn't buy it with DRUG money!?

Personally, I'd put money on a whole LOT of judges out there wishing it would come before them so they could knock it down! DADT has to be pretty damned offensive to a lot of people who've studied the law, and the constant wrangling over it, the delays in getting rid of something that should have been done away with long ago--it would probably feel good to a LOT of them to be able to just put the brakes on it!
