He was being interviewed with a rabbi representing the other groups of Jewish New Yorkers, and the orthodox guy came out ridiculous. He said he knew of Paladino's various beastiality and obscene e-mails, but when reminded that beastiality is a serious "no no" in Judiasm, said he would be in favor of someone who was hypocritical about his personal life, but upheld the right stands in his public life. Uhhhhh.... Cults and overly-"orthodox" religious types are funny, as well as scary. But I'm glad this one (who said he had a part in writing the initial comments) was part of the fuss; it exemplifies the backers of nuts like Paladino.
