I note for the record that Ohio was a complete sweep for the Republicans. We won the Senate race by over 20 pts. We won the Governor's race. We also swept all four executive offices...Treasurer, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and Auditor. Three of those races were political unknowns, one was Senator DeWine (who a year ago was on his way out of politics). The only real fight was the very ugly governor's race.

We also have the largest majority for the Republicans in State history. We unseated a sitting Chief Justice and won three Supreme Court Seats. We defeated numerouse Democratic incumbant Congressional members.

Its a real movement here with several rallys this year (we had three I can think of between June and election day) all drawing folks by the thousands despite the lack of any big name draw...aside from the Mayor, the speakers were not candidates or office holders...I saw business owners, mothers, etc taking the stage and giving nervous, unpolished speeches filled with real passion and love for their country. It was really a site to see.

About this trip... on the surface, I actually agree w/ the motives and concept of pushing for more trade w/ that part of the world. It only makes sense, it being such a up and coming region of democracy and capitalism.

But even if it's not 200 million a day, I still want to see what the ball park figure for this excellent adventure is for Barry and friends.
