Okay, I'm not going to nitpick the things about this guy that bother me, he's basically around 90% on target, and a couple of times he really fucks up, and the plug for cash at the end isn't very independent of him.

Instead I wanted to focus on one specific error he makes which will open up a rather unseemly can of worms:

He says that the ownership of guns is explicitly granted by the constitution.

No, it is not.

He's entirely right for the reason for the 2nd amendment and its application, and the consequence of not having it.

However:

Actually, as you've pointed out quite often, you have no interest at all in what we lefties have to say. In fact, according to you and PN, we should all be rounded up (just like "the illegals") and shot, or deported.

So don't pretend now that you're interested in our input.

By the way, DT missed one important point in his historical breakdown of the "militia" issue: The militia was commonly regarded in that time as every able-bodied man who could serve, and they were expected to bring their own Arms and provisions to any conflict. So it would mean that private citizens WERE intended to keep and bear Arms, since they made up the militia in the first place.

We've gone over this, to death, some years ago when the Heller decision was handed down.
