Are you one of the few who is unable to see that Bush fucked up the world before Obama (unquestionably) continued many of his policies?

Under Bush, we were seen as bullies, we fucked up our interaction with our allies, global financial institutions, and so much, much more.

Bush was UNILATERALLY pro-Israel, which made the world hate us more than it did because of our previous pro-Israel stance.

Bush ignored and dissed the UN, which made the world see us even more as bullies who would do whatever we wanted.

Bush started two wars; while the world was totally with us after 9/11, it became more and more against us because of our policies in Iraq and our allies deserted us (after he had exercised every form of power he could think of to FORCE them to stay).

Bush pushed detention and torture policies which the world abhorred, which were ILLEGAL via the agreement of the rest of the world, and enhanced the vision of us as ignorng international law and, again, using our power to be bullies.

And on and on. Yes, Obama has certainly continued much of it, and there's no excuse for that, but he didn't start this shit, and he didn't enhance what had already been started by others in such a public and overly aggressive way.

One of the differences I DO see is that he's attempted to work WITH the rest of the world more to solve some of the problems, and he stopped making America roll over the rest of the world as much.

Obama didn't come into a vacuum, Bush got there first. And before him Clinton, and on and on, and "we" (they) have contributed to fucking up the world for a long, long time.

Just because you hate Obama so much doesn't mean you can unilaterally blame him for everything as if he arrived when things were peachy and made it all go to hell. Not that you won't, just that yo don't make valid points when you do.

Niki, why bother trying to reason with a "person" who violently rejects any and all rational thought?

Sigh...sorry. Yeah, I know, total waste of time...sometimes I just respond, without thinking of who I'm responding to. My bad.

DREAMTROVE

Clinton is still in power

1) Cheney was and is Clinton's goon

2) Bush is actually illiterate, a moron.

3) it's not possible that bush was ever actively president, so Cheney was

4) Obama is a Clinton puppet. People can debate whether this is intentional or not.

5) Bush-Clinton is not a partisan entity, and has been in power since at least 1980

6) Bush Clinton is not an american power base, but a pawn of an international one

7) they plan is to kill us all. If we all die opposing them, it's a sucess if we get even one of them.

8) That said, anything else is a better plan. We have to keep working at better plans that maxmimize the destruction of them and minimize the destruction of us.

9) even if a collaborator is trying to help, or thinks they are on the right side, if they are not actively supporting the revolution, or are actively opposing it, then they are part of the enemy.

10) TPTB are clearly the enemy, and non-enemy would clearly be moving to oppose the censorship of information, the control of people and commodities and the killing of people.

Evil is a foot, and is very clearly defined.

Niki, unless you have a personal line to the president that can make him change his position on energy, finance, torture, wikileaks, etc. Assume that he is Bush and act accordingly.

Kane, the enemy is on both sides of the aisle, if Obama is Bush, Bush is Obama.

At the moment the only politician who appears to be solidly on our side is Ron Paul, there are undoubtedly others, but they are probably not at any higher a level.

Part of the alliance. Lets make sure that our efforts are directed at them, and not at attacking one another.

I would ask if you are kidding, but I know you're not...sigh.

Once again, I'll agree to disagree on your opinions.

Of course I won't assume he's Bush; McCain would have been closer, come to that. But such a remark is idiotic, to me. He may be like Bush, or Clinton, or whoever, but he's a different person and he has done things Bush would never do and UNdone things Bush did.

Beyond that, I know you believe we should think everyone in the government--hell, everyone with ANY kind of power--is part of the NWO and out to get us. I don't.

I'm surprised you'd even think that possible; we all have differing opinions, and RWE has always been a place where people come to discuss and it gets heated. If we all believed as you do, there'd be no reason to come here...and what a depressing world it would be! So I'll just agree to disagree with your hypotheses.

Aside from all that, you are once again assuming anyone here is willing to do anything about anything...this is a place for expressing our feelings and opinions, not a cabal to overtake the country, or the world. That's like saying the forums about other aspects of Joss' work are actually secret societies to bring back Firefly; some may think that possible, but only a tiny minority has any intention of acting on it.

That's a hell of an assumption, to imagine that he's on our side.

The unreserved worship for Paul from some quarters is.... enlightening.

Yeah, I'm surprised at how he's held up as some kind of hero, too. Admittedly he has some good ideas (but unfortunately raised a kid who doesn't get it), but there's a lot more to the man than some good ideas, and a lot of the rest is, in my opinion, NOT good for the country.
