No sensational revelations here, but good for sarah palin fans like myself who hang on her every word

My thoughts:

With this - "Obama has already said he's going to rake in and spend $1bn (£615.4m) in this race."

I fear she's starting to make excuses for not running here... And I thought she got a bit defensive towards the end, showing a little bit of her characteristic media-shyness in walking away :-/

It's not personal. It's just war.

I'm more curious about this snowmobile race thing. That sounds more interesting.

Of course she is. Obama will funnel money to her as a third party candidate. He'd be a fool not to, but I said some time ago that this would happen, and it will, and he'll get re-elected.

There's no way in hell Sarah is going to give up raking in money as easily as she has been to run for anything. Too much work. As to "Obama will funnel money to her as a third party candidate," that's ... well, you know.

Huckabee's much more fun to watch, right now; Palin's gotten so old she's not worth paying attention to anymore. But Huckabee is a real good "huckster", with grabbing attention by outrageous statements, etc., to raise more money for his books, and so forth. The man isn't very good at it, but by gawd, the MSM grabs every idiotic statement!

By 11/12 she'll be out of the news if she's not running for president. She'll need it to keep raking it in. I'm convinced that's all that 1/2 of third party candidates are doing anyway. Hell, 1/2 of candidates.

I personally will no longer have any interest in her if she doesn't run. I promise. And that's coming from her biggest fan.

Here's BBC's Newsnight segment on Palin in full: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/newsnight/9411955.stm

I thought the talk of her 'contradictions' summed her up pretty well: 'Thick skinned' but clearly still raw, bitter and fearful of almost all media. A 'fighter' - who quit halfway through her term as governor.

I think the people in this video: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/newsnight/9412299.stm opining that she could win a presidential race, might over-estimate her toughness and ability to withstand the pressure of a presidential campaign, without unravelling :-/

It's not personal. It's just war.

DT, you may be on to something here. Not sure what it is, but you are on to something. We will see.

I don't think she'll run, a candidate who has had a reality show (on TLC) doesn't really have a shot at winning. I think she'll do better if she stays in the spotlight by backing other candidates etc.
