Seems the government has been stepping up stockpiling in its long term storage facilities. Police presence has been stepped up as well.

I wonder if they're preparing for Saturday?

If it is you'd think they'd have more security on it.

Coincidence? We think not.

(There's a link to the actual CDC site in the article but it's slammed right now.)

Weird - that didn't make Rappy's "religion of peace" rundown. Terrorists gaining access to nuclear missile sites - you'd think he'd have a problem with that. And since he claims to be atheist, you'd think he'd have a problem with it regardless of the religion of the terrorists.

Funny how it never works out that way with Rappy...

DREAMTROVE

Okay, no point re-handing your head to Byte for not recognizing Illyria.

There's actually a serious side to all of this. The paramilitary used to control the US has risen fairly radically, and surpassed Nazi Germany in police:population ratio. We're definitely in USSR/China territory now.

Additionally, there have been large stockpiles of chemical weapons, explosives and vehicles. People have been pointing out the satellite images, which is why I figure the underground bunker (Anyone catch in OK city and Building 7 part of the explanation for the collapse was the huge govt weapons cache in the building?)

Around here, there's been a big push for a while to replace bridges. It's a silly item. They spend 15 million bucks a pop to replace old 19th c. steel and wood bridges to East Podunk. This is a service the govt. provides because it's concerned about fire trucks. Every single bridge has to have a weight limit and a clearance set by the govt. But the specs don't really match a fire truck, as they uses the old bridges all the time with no problem. Some of you military folks already know the stats are set to a mobile missile launching platform, but why in E. Podunk? I figure it has something to do with the specs of a standard tank which can't roll across a wooden bridge and expert good results.

It's all just more than a little bit worrisome.

Last night the locals voted unanimously to ban fracking. Curiously, proponents voted for the ban. It just wasn't that important to them. But our votes don't actually count, because it's not really a democracy, and each well requires 400 heavy trucks to carry in chemical weapons that are banned in every country in the world, including this one, except to put into your drinking water, quite directly, by an oil company, through an exemption known as the halliburton loophole.

Some cursory digging revealed that CFC toxification of drinking water was used by the US against N. Korea, and then again in Vietnam, and by various small despotic regimes, but it's not all that common. Everyone knows the result. It also turns out that studies done in N. Dakota prove that adding CFCs to the water provides no added yield in gas drilling. Yet we are synthesizing millions of tons of the stuff. This is what really happened in the Gulf of Mexico. The Administration gave BP a green light to deliberately dusted the gulf with over a million gallons of chemical warfare agents, mostly mustard gas and variants. I suspect this a very large scale chemical weapons test.

That's what a ship is, you know - it's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs.
