So instead I'll address what he said: We desperately DO need to create jobs (which, despite hollering that's what they were going to do, the Republicans across the country have actually DECREASED the number of jobs through their legislation). So how do we do it? Given spending any money to do so would bring the sky down on anyone who dared to suggest it, and given all the cuts the Tea Party/Republicans insisted on without adding any revenue have "UNcreated" even MORE jobs, how do we get back on our feet and lower unemployment?

Anyone got anything INTELLIGENT to contribute on this one? (And please, don't offend our intelligence by saying something like "More tax cuts for the rich!" It's an actual biggie, maybe the biggest; an old man farting isn't.

Obama can't do it alone. Takes Congress to make any serious effort, not the President. He tried, and the stimulus DID create jobs--not as many as needed because it was too small. But show us a Republican who has actually created jobs rather than killed themm or is willing to create any, if you actually want to debate. Which obviously you don't. The rich "job creators" you worship certainly aren't creating any...

Well it was also in part because of his defict spending. He spent large amounts of money and raised taxes and the economy did not suffer, but did very well.
