I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

why the f*ck am I being dragged into this ? Granted, some of what Ron Paul says is spot on, but he's got too much tainted meat in his stew for me to try. No thank you.

Of minor interest only. But I found it while looking for something else and thought it was interesting how changeable rappy's opinions are. That's what happens when your opinions are based on nothing real.

Freedom is Important because People are Important

Hello,

I did not know Raptor was a Ron Paul supporter now? He always seemed more in tune with the other, newer version of the Tea Party. The ones I can't stand.

In any event, changeable opinions are good. I don't think Raptor has them, but I think it's good to be able to re-examine your position and chart a better course when one presents itself.

To me, it seems the people who don't self-examine and never change course are the ones whose opinions are based on nothing- and thus are not subject to refinement or alteration. They will believe what they believe without modification forever, and we generally consider such people extreme.

Yeah, changeable how ? I've not swayed a bit for or against Ron Paul from where I was nearly FOUR YEARS AGO, from when you grabbed this quote.

Hell, you really don't have much of a life, do you?

And Anthony, I'm not against changeable positions. I'm always open to new or compelling evidence. But dogmatically clinging to one's views, despite of the evidence, I'll leave that for others.

No, but congrats for trying to completely mischaracterize my point and draw attention away from Sig's nonsensical obsession.

Silly thread. Nothing wrong with changing one's view of things, and I see the opposite where Raptor's concerned (except when it comes to the hypocrisy of the moment). And yes, I too got the impression he's more a "Today's Tea Partier"; I don't think Ron Paul is far enough to the right for him. Four years is a long time ago to be dredging up stuff like this--there must be something jucier you could find, if you really try...
