Note the distorted bargraph by NBC

It’s embarrassing for the establishment. They keep holding these “debates” and Ron Paul keeps winning. The corporate media keeps posting polls and Ron Paul keeps winning. And yet we are told he can’t possibly win the nomination.
Following the dog and pony show at the Ronnie Reagan library last night, the “NBC News Political Unit” posted a poll on their website asking who won.

Following the dog and pony show at the Ronnie Reagan library last night, the “NBC News Political Unit” posted a poll on their website asking who won.

Ron Paul is the winner with 48 percent of nearly 100,000 votes (as of 7 AM CST). Mitt the Democrat who wants you to think he is a Republican came in a distant second at a mere 18 percent. Michele Bachmann, the Tea Party decoy came in with a pathetic 2.4 percent of the votes. Rick Santorum barely registered at 1.1%.

Ron Paul wins 82.8% in MSNBC poll

-gop-debate

Polls are irrelevant to “pundits” who love the state, though. For instance, over at the “conservative” website Newsmax, Ron Paul is considered the loser “because he’s just so out of it” and because he dissed Ronnie at his very own shrine-library. Paul dared speak the truth – Ronnie talked the talk, but when the rubber met the pavement he turned out to be just another tax-and-spender, or rather borrow-and-spender.

Ron Paul Missing From Fox News GOP Poll (only 3 candidates listed)
http://www.dailypaul.com/177828/fox-news-gop-poll-without-ron-paul-onl
y-3-candidates-listed

The Washington Post didn’t even mention Ron Paul when it talked about winners and losers. Rick Santorum, John Huntsman and the veteran globalist insider Newt Gingrich warranted more coverage, even though they obviously are not considered serious candidates by the American people, or those who are not yet completely disenchanted with politics and still pay attention.

USA Today and the rest of the corporate media ignored Paul as much as possible. They spent a lot of time discussing “job creation” and the exchange between the statist from Texas and the one from Massachusetts, both who actually think (or their wranglers do) that government can create jobs.

Perry attacked Social Security – in order to maintain his fake Tea Party stance – and Romney attacked Perry for daring to criticize the retirement fund at gunpoint program. Both “front-runners” spent most of the night worshipping the state.

Although the NBC poll showed Perry coming in a dismal third, the Los Angeles Times declared him the “the presumptive GOP front-runner” and said Paul and the other candidates “often seemed like extras, visible but silent much of the time.”
Ron Paul was “silent” because he was not asked questions by NBC news anchor Brian Williams and Politico editor John Harris. Ron Paul won the debate, “even though you gave him almost zero time to speak, and gave him questions designed to make him look like an idiot when you did,” a comment on the NBC poll page notes.

Mother Jones – the fount for “progressives” – declared the debate a toss-up between “Governor Goodhair” and the establishment Tea Party diva Michele Bachmann. They didn’t mention Paul, either, even though anti-war Democrats would do well to back Paul, the only candidate who does not support attacking small countries and militarily occupying them.

The “debate” was held in order to give the impression that the two front-runners are slugging it out and the others are merely stage props.

Millions of Americans are coming around to Ron Paul and his message. It is up to the establishment media to ignore him and get people thinking about Rick Perry and Mitt Romney who will if elected continue the charade of endless wars and a bankster dominated economy.

Campaigning outside Pittsburgh today, GOP frontrunner Rick Perry attended a picnic at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Oil City where he enjoyed a foot long corndog while touring the fabulous reproduction of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel.

Meir Shlomo, Consul General to the Southwest, told the Algemeiner that Perry has been in Israel three times and has developed productive economic relationships with many Israeli companies. He noted that the governor had strongly condemned the second flotilla, and that his stance on Israel was greatly appreciated. Further, Perry’s encouragement of employment initiatives has increased his support among the Jewish business community.

As Agriculture Commissioner in 1991, he created the Texas-Israel Exchange, which promoted information and research sharing. In a 2009 interview with The Jerusalem Post, while leading an economic development delegation to Israel, Perry said the alliance between Texas and Israel was “a natural one,” comparing the spirit of Masada and the Alamo. He told the Jerusalem Post that “we’re talking about two groups of people who were willing to give up their lives for freedom and liberty.”

In the last several years, Governor Perry’s relationship with the Jewish community has become more visible. For the past two years, he has hosted an official Chanukah lighting service with Chabad. Says Rabbi Chaim Block, who has met with Perry several times. His pro business approach has appeal to Jews in all types of industries and in the medical community.

Perry became a Republican in 1989 after being a Democrat.

Rick Perry was all ready to build the Trans-Texas NAFTA super-highway which would have confiscated millions of acres from landowners through eminent domain. Rick Perry now comes out and says he opposes the Federal Reserve fiat funny-money system. Until very recently, there is no record of him ever taking a position on this issue or even discussing it. If you’re against private bankers having the ability to print money from nothing and bail out their buddies, then perhaps you should look at the the guy who has opposed the Fed for 30+ years – Ron Paul.

Rick Perry is no friend to the Constitution, and is yet another good-looking smooth-talking war-mongering neoconservative establishment shill who *claims* to be a Christian, but is NOT genuine….there are even rumors that he is, like many of the elite, at least bi-sexual…I mean “not that there’s anything wrong with that”, eh?”…well, why not at least be honest about it….stop pretending to be something your not, Rick. The problem is that if Perry is in the closet, he can be blackmailed and manipulated by the power elite. That’s exactly the type of candidate the elite always look for.

See, PN, this is where you fall down, and where your arguments fall completely apart. All anyone needs to do is click on one of your links, like this one that you posted above:

http://ed.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/06/13/6851987-poll-who-won-tonights
-gop-debate

You use it to support your argument that the polls are fixed to keep Ron Paul out, but look at it. Ron Paul clearly decimated the field (according to left-wing Ed Schultz viewers, that is).

Only problem is, you're using a graphic and poll from JUNE in support of your claims about this week's debate. Note who's conspicuously absent (Rick Perry).

You're engaging in what you would call "PsyOps", or more generally, you're acting like what you call "Jews at work" - you're being deliberately misleading.

Now, given that you've already stated unequivocally that you won't believe ANYTHING you're told by the government until several government officials, past and present, have been murdered... I have to ask, why on Earth should we believe YOU? You're at least as misleading; shouldn't you be killed now?

Mike,

Sorry, John is correct here. Here's the information from MSNBC

http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011/09/07/7658608-who-do-you-thi
nk-won-the-republican-debate-at-the-reagan-library

The Reagan Library debate is the result show, MSNBC hosted, and of course, the only one Perry was at. John's charts are correct, as far as I can tell.

If he posted an outdated link, oh well, that happens, links move, etc. But he's right: the media's attitude is now "polls don't matter" because they don't want to admit to a landslidde victory for Paul.

If Ron Paul is the candidate, I will need to think more seriously about it.

That's what a ship is, you know - it's not just a keel and a hull and a deck and sails, that's what a ship needs.

The links didn't move. John posted a misleading link. Both links are still there; he chose NOT to post the actual link, because it doesn't show what he claims it shows - it actually shows Ron Paul winning by a huge margin.

According to him, posting the wrong link to an outdated poll with wildly different results can ONLY be a direct act intended to mislead (lie). After all, he'll not allow anyone else to make any such mistake, right? Shouldn't he be held to the same accountability standards as he holds others?

Big picture, forest for trees, etc.

Sometimes even information that is bad or displayed in a misleading way can have some importance or value.

Regardless of what PN posts - which is too bad that he isn't more careful, because otherwise we couldn't disregard him - he makes a point here. The point is that Ron Paul's results are essentially being completely left out on a number of news stations including Fox News, Washington Post, and USA Today. If msnbc is reporting that he DID win, it's not meant as a compliment to Ron Paul, but rather something that doesn't particularly matter to viewers who traditionally vote left.

Just read the comments on the link you did post, Kwicko: "I don't really care" "Just a bunch of blame-passing anti-Obama lunatics" and so on.

Hello,

There is no doubt that Ron Paul’s victories have been minimized by the media. However, Mr. News merely undermines Paul further and becomes a force for the opposition when he communicates in this fashion- mixing propaganda and half-truths in with his facts. It represents a standard of reporting that is no better than the media he mocks.

No worries, Byte - I'm with ya! I think it's both laughable and lamentable the extremes the media have gone to to ignore Dr. Paul. But I also find it laughable and lamentable that PN is perfectly willing to go to such extremes himself in his hyperbolic OVERstating of the facts.

I actually try not to be terribly dismissive of "Dr. No"; as I said before, when I challenged Wulfie - and I'll open that up to any conservative who wants to take that Pepsi Challenge - if Ron Paul wins the Republican nomination, I'll vote for him - but they have to agree that if he DOESN'T get the nomination from the GOP, they'll vote for Obama. So far, not one single conservative/libertarian has been willing to take the challenge. Shows that they have little confidence in their own candidate, I'm afraid. And I'll freely admit I've got damned little confidence in Obama, so I lose nothing by not voting for him; besides, I think Ron Paul is probably the best the GOP can do right now, and I actually like some of his stances.

And here's the crazy part: I'm not the only lefty who feels this way. Look at the MSNBC results - those are mostly lefty-loony voters responding to that post, since MSNBC definitely skews to that demographic.

At least MSNBC was willing to report that Ron Paul DID win the debate, in their viewers' eyes. The other networks just seem to leave him out of the results completely, often as not.

Yeah. He's probably more "no" about everything than the neo-con fakes, but at least that includes some important no's, like "no more pointless war" and "no scary walls meant to keep Americans trapped here."

Though it includes some troublesome stuff, like his stances on health care and emergency response, but I'd almost rather have an honest guy slash everything and then try to apply some freed up money to helping the resulting social issues, than I would people who will just flush us further down the pipe hole.

What kills me is, everybody in the media acted like it was the craziest thing they'd ever heard said aloud when they reported on Ron Paul's quip about the idea that the fence you build to keep others out also becomes your own prison, keeping YOU *IN*. It was like they'd never even heard such a nutty concept, and couldn't fathom how anyone could think such a thing about America.

So now we have drones cruising the border - two at the moment, with funding for a third in the pipes, I believe - and I do believe I heard Perry asking for ARMED Predator drones on the borders. Because, you know, those things NEVER make mistakes and kill the wrong people... [/snark]

"Predator" is the name given the drone by the manufacturer. They have armed and unarmed versions - or they simply fly them without weapons sometimes (allegedly).

Currently there are two that concentrate on the Texas-Mexico border and a third that works the Arizona-Mexico border, but can overlap far west Texas when needed, they say.
