I find it interesting that the media has nothing to say about Ron Paul. Everyone from the right (FOX News) to the middlish-left (NPR) almost never even mentions him. It's as if he doesn't even exist.

I didn't see the debate, but I gotta ask, JS: Is he really that bad? Or is there some sort of news blackout on him?

Pretty much my thoughts as well (except without the admiring). Sure, he has a couple things I agree with. But those couple things cannot distract me from all the unsavory parts of him and his proposed policies. And it makes me so confused that people I consider well-informed and intelligent taking a look at this guy and thinking he's a fine candidate (and borderline liberal on top of that) because he wants to legalize pot and end the military action in the Middle East. And that's all they know about him or at least all they care to know about him. To them, he can enact all the terrible policies he want as long as they can smoke pot while watching US soldiers hugging their families on TV after landing back home.
