Quote: Just sayin' that a reality where Liberalism wins out in 90% of every situation these days, when at the very lest 50% of this country is Conservative....
Quote: Personally, I view Rush's viewership very akin to the people who frequented speakeasy's in the Prohibition days. Were these people breaking the law? Yes.

It seemed, at the time, that he might have something interesting to say. If that was ever true, it seems that time has past. Now I feel he is just a vile thug, hardly worth the spittle he spends. --Anthony

Quote:We don't condone negative comments directed toward any group. In response, we are currently pulling our ads from Rush with Rush Limbaugh.
Quote: We’ve never paid for ads on Limbaugh show. We’re looking into the matter of “network buys” & will let you know what we discover.
Quote:Due to continued inflammatory comments– along w/valuable feedback from clients & team members– QL has suspended ads on Rush Limbaugh program
Quote:Recent comments by Rush Limbaugh do not align w/our values, so we made decision to immediately suspend all advertising on that program.
Quote: The Cleveland Cavaliers have decided to suspend any and all on-air advertising with the Rush Limbaugh radio program, citing "inflammatory comments" coupled with valuable feedback from both clients and team employees.
Quote: AutoZone said the company had never advertised with Limbaugh and was working with its media buyers to find out if any ads did air. "If a commercial ran, it was in error," he said. "We're running it down."
Quote: We do not advertise on Rush nor any other radio show; however, apparently a year or so ago we did some radio ads which may have aired on Rush as part of a broad media placement (we are looking into that);
Quote: Over the past day, we’ve heard from many great Citrix customers about our advertising on The Rush Limbaugh Show. These customers have expressed their growing concern that some of his recent comments seem inconsistent with the core values Citrix has always stood for – humility, integrity and respect. While Citrix obviously does not control any show’s content or endorse opinions of their hosts, we do take the concerns of our customers seriously. When they are upset about something, we listen. After careful consideration, we have decided to discontinue our advertising on The Rush Limbaugh Show.
Quote:The nature of talk radio is that from time to time listeners are offended by a host and ask that we pull our advertising.... Carbonite does not endorse the opinions of the shows or their hosts.....However, the outcry over Limbaugh is the worst we’ve ever seen. I have scheduled a face-to-face meeting next week with Limbaugh during which I will impress upon him that his comments were offensive to many of our customers and employees alike.
Quote: "We have not advertised on Rush Limbaugh's radio program in over five years," Life Quotes spokeswoman Michelle Matlock said via email.
Quote:In response to multiple consumer inquiries - @CENTURY21 is not a sponsor of the Rush Limbaugh radio program. Not sure where this started.

Quote:Rush was right, of course, on the bigger issue of free giveaways for contraception. This isn't an issue of availability. Contraception is a product, just like anything else. No one should be bound to pay for a convenience , other than those who directly use it. It sure as hell isn't a "right". This isn't a case of men being able to walk up and purchase a product, but then women are denied, and shown the door. And was Rush also wrong ? It seems, yeah. He attributed statements made by the activist, Ms Fluke, to be entirely of her own, when she was relaying stories of OTHER women. He kinda got the story wrong, and then ran w/ it, making a trivial side matter THE story, and for that, he should face the music. He stepped in it, so he'll take the arrows. Of course, much of the fuss is being jumped on by Obama and the Left, but hell, when have they ever missed a chance to demagogue an issue ? It's who they are. It's what they do, after all. Rush is a big boy. He'll be fine. Provided he learns from this.

"Goram it kid, let's frak this thing and go home! Engage!" All while some mental midgets continue to ignore the real issue, and perpetuate the mindless, hysterical and childish array of name calling and foot stomping. *yawn* Credit the Dems for phonying up this entire issue, from the very start. Ms Fluke was a last minute 'witness' by the Dems. They pulled a switch-a-roo, by first submitting an actual expert witness, ( a man, btw ) but then , late in the day, tried to take back his invitation and instead offer up Ms Fluke to the Congressional hearing. Only problem, was, ( and the Dems completely knew this ) was that her name , her credentials, weren't vetted. There was no time, per House rules, for her to speak. So what ? So Pelosi then went on this phony, disingenuous rant about the GOP not allowing any WOMEN to testify on a hearing about contraception, invited her to speak anyways, and made a complete spectacle of the whole case. Does it dismiss Rush for his comments? Nope. But it goes to show just how depraved and dishonest the Left are, and how this woman's activist was used, albeit willingly , as a phony martyr for the EVILS of not getting free contraception.

Quote:If a woman’s employer is a charity or a hospital that has a religious objection to providing contraceptive services as part of their health plan, the insurance company--not the hospital, not the charity--will be required to reach out and offer the woman contraceptive care free of charge, without co-pays and without hassles. Let me repeat: These employers will not have to pay for, or provide, contraceptive services. But women who work at these institutions will have access to free contraceptive services, just like other women, and they'll no longer have to pay hundreds of dollars a year that could go towards paying the rent or buying groceries.

Quote: 1kiki You go to McDonald's. Order a value meal. Comes w/ Med fries ( I'm guessing, who the hell cares. Just play along.) You want large fries. For free. And you want a hot fudge sundae too. Just because. You're already paying for the value meal, right ? And they already sell fries, sundaes, and the like... so you tell them to fork it over. Because you're a paying customer. And what the hell.. a few extra fries ? This company makes billions of dollars...what , they can't part w/ a few measly fries ? Gotta cost them next to nothing. They'll never miss it.
Quote: You don't have a RIGHT to free fries. You don't have a RIGHT to free contraception.

I'll put a buck down that he's still on the air in 6 months. Even if he gets a slap on the wrist suspension, a la Imus or Schultz.
