I dunno about the rest of the country, but if you catch the news alot here, the people doin' the worst crap are all over the age of 18. I don't see too many articles about kids where they put "The perpetrator cannot be identified due to being underage" I'm sure the sweeps cut down on vandalism and general mischief, but I'm not sure that validates it... If anything the sweeps might discourage ADULTS from doing naughty deeds... They're more likely to be the ones killing, stealing, and drug dealing.
