Quote:Just like Mitt Romney the day before, Vice President Joe Biden was booed at the NAACP convention. Unlike Romney, however, he wasn't booed because the crowd was upset but because they didn't want Biden to stop talking. Biden, whose presence was met with a response so enthusiastic it resulted in boos when he said he'd be wrapping up his remarks, emphasized his belief that the presumptive Republican nominee is a "fine family man." But his vision for America's future, he argued, is "so fundamentally different" than "how we view the future of America.Sorry to quote Drudge, but I've heard it elswhere and am not about to spend much time seeking another site... http://www.drudge.com/news/158859/biden-booed-naacpfor-ending-his

Quote:Originally posted by 1kiki: My picture - shows wall to wall (you can see the black draping on both walls), all the way to the back where the sound/ lighting/ video folk are. And it's wall to wall, front to back people. But spin away. It makes you look all the more pathetic. Oh, yeah, let me just post this so you don't do that thing you ahem 'never' do, which is post-edit. "Still shows much less of the room than the first picture. Notice that in the first, longer distance, picture there are six blocks of seats across with aisles between them. There are a good number of folks in the middle two blocks, and a few more in the adjoining ones(in front of the video screen to the right of the stage, for example), and almost no one in the outer two. The second picture shows only the center two blocks of seats (not even out to the video screen), and yours the center two blocks and parts of the next two (and just the edge of the video screen). So the two pictures that you claim show more folks really just show the same folks with the empty chairs cropped out. Provide a picture that shows the entire hall with more folks in it than the first picture, and you have a case." SignyM: I swear, if we really knew what was being decided about us in our absence, and how hosed the government is prepared to let us be, we would string them up.

That is truly sad; I'm sorry you don't have a life. Maybe you should trying to get one; preferably outside politics, since you're so obsessed with issues like this! Photoshopped? Joking he must be, of course. Even for Whatzit that's a pretty lame! I'm sorry guys, but as far as I'm concerned, there are plenty of people in that last photo; it ain't worth Photoshopping any of this shit; and the event is long over and done with, and wasn't that important in the first place.

Once more, since you can't seem to comprehend. I said the first picture, which Auraptor posted, and the second picture, which Niki posted, both seemed to show about the same crowd. Rap's picture is wide-angle, and shows a lot of empty seats. Niki's picture is closer in, and shows only the occupied seats. Your picture is also closer in and shows only occupied seats. So let's go back to that first picture. It shows blocks of seats that are about 15 rows deep and 10 seats wide, for about 150 seats per block. If both sides of the auditorium are set up the same, there would be 12 such blocks (six in the front and six in the back, separated by clearly visible aisles), for total seating of around 1800. The first picture shows the two blocks in the center front pretty well filled, with some folks in the two adjoining front blocks. That'd be, say, 4 or 5 hundred. Niki's picture shows only the two front center blocks, so you really can't see more than 300 or so, although you may assume there's more on the side, as the first picture shows. Your picture also appears to show the front center blocks, and part of the adjoining blocks. Pretty much the same seats that are occupied in the first picture. So assume 4 or 5 hundred again. How you figure that noting that 4 or 5 hundred seats are probably filled in all three photos turns into me stating there was an empty hall is something you'll have to take up with whatever you use for a brain.

And need I remind folks: this "crowd" includes at least a busload (more?) of "VIPs" that Romney bussed in, people who aren't active in NAACP. (This according to event organizers, as I've posted elsewhere in RWED recently.) Hey whozit, who farted this time? Maybe no one needed to. Maybe it was just the stench of **smug** coming of the Romster that scared everyone away. ETA: I guess I've joined the stupidity of this thread. Quote:Originally posted by 1kiki: "Provide a picture that shows THE ENTIRE HALL WITH MORE FOLKS IN IT THAN THE FIRST PICTURE, and you have a case." Can we dispense with "the entire hall" requirement? After all, the first photo you're whoring after was not "the entire hall". Second, no one here is making the claim that the room was packed full, only that it wasn't empty - or at least not as empty as the first picture. So your attempts to shift the argument by innuendo are now available for all to see. So, does my photo show more people than the first photo? Yes, or no.
