I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

Do you remember how Kremlinologists used to "scrute" the inscrutable... who was in favor and who was out of favor... by examining pictures to see who was airbrushed out and who was left in? How the American intelligentsia could always get cheap laughs by pulling out old photos of past Committees and compare them to current versions to see whose photo was replaced with a more acceptable person, or there was just a blank wall remaining?

Well, the RNC did just that, and NOBODY NOTICED!!

At least one honored guest was notably absent from the proceedings.

Poor guy; except for the trillions of dollars in debt, the festering Mideast wars and the lingering effects of a complete financial meltdown, it's almost like he never existed.

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false." -- William Casey, Reagan's presidential campaign manager & CIA Director (from first staff meeting in 1981)

I noticed. I noticed a distinct lack of any mention of him in the speeches, as far as I heard. And I found it odd that they'd have a convention without any of their party's former presidents in attendance. 'Course, it doesn't help that they're both named "Bush".

It seems the GOP really doesn't want them brought up or remembered.

"I supported Bush in 2000 and 2004 and intellegence [sic] had very little to do with that decision." - Hero

Mitt Romney, introducing his running mate: "Join me in welcoming the next President of the United States, Paul Ryan!"

Rappy's response? "You're lying, gullible ( believing in some BS you heard on msnbc ) or hard of hearing."

That's because the ALL NEW Corporfascist GOP has no use for soft wussies like the Bush dudes. They were too warm & fuzzy.

You didn't watch the whole convention. Assuming you missed the tributes to both Presidents Bush, you also missed both Bush's messages to the convention. Then there was a major address by somebody who happens to be a Bush, one with Florida connections and who my be our next Secretary of Education.

Dems are trotting out Bill Clinton (and he's a serial RAPIST!!)

Since he preferred to rape or sexually assault women who were Democrats, his looming presence at the Convention should only further help to demonstrate their strong commitment to women's rights.

Hope Sandra Fluke has her tax-payer funded contraception devices with her this week! You just know that 'ole Bill's gonna be making the rounds looking for that intern-quality poontang.
