But of course he's talking about himself, why does he write "but that ain't me"? Considering Rap has dogged my posts and responded to virtually every one, dismissively, negatively, and even offensively, almost every time (even when I was being quite polite), who else could he be talking about?

I didn't watch the video. It's entitled "I'm offended by Islam". That's sufficient for me. The guy starts out saying Muslims are offended by Western culture. I don't blame them; so am I, by some of it. Westerners are offended by aspects of Muslim culture, too. They have every right to be. So what? How is that, as Rap claims, "significant" in any way?

I can pretty much guess Rap's purpose in putting up the video without watching it. But I'm not offended by Rap, I don't find him important enough to cause offense. My reaction to his obsession with anything and everything anti-Islam, anti-Muslim, anti-left, anti-Obama, anti- anti- anti- ...well, "I think it's sad, actually."

What's most amusing about all of this is that pretty much NOBODY watched the video; we all know Rap so well we don't even bother with stuff like this. Which, of course, offends the hell out of HIM, I guess because he's not being taken seriously...which is strange, because if he chooses to put up something as ridiculous as a video entitled "I'm Offended by Islam" and title it "I'm Offended", he should be surprised if anyone DID take him seriously...but that's our Rap.

It makes me smile every time I see him or Six complaining about how many threads I put up, then I look around and see how many of PN's threads even get replied to, and how many of Rap's threads instigate any kind of actual discussion...and I go away happy.

First there's PN, who has ten threads going on this page, only ONE of which has more than 2 responses, and that thread only has responses because PN kept slathering the thread with his OWN "replies". The vast majority of "replies" to his other threads are by him, as well, or people saying "Whaaa?"

Then there's Rap, who posts titles such as:

Has Hillary EVER told the truth ?
Global warming may lead to more sex!
4 died, and the US media didn't care
Been a chilly year so far...

Pretty much everyone knows before they click on the thread what those are about, and if you bother to read the threads, they are made up almost exclusively of Rap writing outrageous things, a few of his cronies agreeing with him, and everyone else mocking his idiocy. ONE thread, about the IRS targeting Tea Party groups, is of substance, and it's waaaaay down the list because everyone on the left agreed it was wrong!
