Well, I certainly won't challenge you, and was surprised Jong did at all. I well remembered Murdoch bought WSJ, was sad at the time, and never forgot it.

The pattern is pretty clear. One of our hard-core righties puts up something easily debunked; someone goes to the effort of refuting it with facts and figures; they never come back with anything but snarks, ever.

Maybe they're just not CAPABLE of intelligent discourse, I dunno. Haven't we had posted a few things about FauxNews viewers being more uninformed, and/or party indicating IQ or something? Being here makes me wonder how valid those studies might be...

It just sure makes them look sad, not being able to keep up with even a simple debate and only making silly, childish cracks...maybe we should just completely ignore them and carry on intelligent conversations around them, unless and until one shows up who can at LEAST contribute to the conversation... Hell, maybe they're ALL just Rap's sock puppets (which would mean Rap has no life WHATSOEVER!)...

Hey, Niki, I don't MIND being challenged. Keeps me sharp. I've BEEN WRONG, sometimes-- I can take being shown that. I've admitted that. You and the ladies here whupped up on me once for being a Male Chauvinist Pig. I deserved it, at least for not respecting your ( collective ) Point of View. But I still remember it well.

Sometimes I'm too lazy to dig up proof I'm right, like I woulda been about this one. I KNEW it was true, but didn't have the slightest idea where to look for the facts backing me. I'm glad Kiki did it, saved me the trouble.

The thing that Really pisses me OFF, tho', is when I dig up proof, enough proof to be convincing, and the challenger won't admit I was Right. I do it when I'm wrong, why can't they? Besides the obvious reason that they're such stubborn pea-brains that they just won't...
