Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Don't we ALL?? Choey JUST sent it to me (she e-mails me goodies from downstairs) and I posted it immediately. I've already watched it three times--she said she's watched it over and over--it's just so damned well done, how can you KEEP from giggling?

Everyone needs a good laugh, and that guy should get a prize, he did it so well. (Choey says her only hope is she doesn't cost anyone a keyboard... ;o)

On a personal note, I especially appreciated the chuckles. I'm getting off for the day now, because I am going to have to drive all the way to Santa Rosa (over an hour North) to meet a woman at 2:30 who is going to take off my hands all FORTY-FOUR Kribensis babies my damned female has had this past month. She has a 100-gallon tank plus two 20s and I've been desperate to get rid of them, because she'll be laying more any day. I got her to replace my original female who died a while back, and yes, it was VERY exciting when she had her first batch...but this is the third, and I've given away as many as pet shops and others will take! From now on, eggs go straight in the tank next door!

So I meet her, give her the fish, then turn South and drive all the way down to SFO (San Francisco airport, over 2-1/2 hours from Santa Rosa) to pick up hub at 6:00 and bring him home ('nother hour and a half IF I'm lucky--both ways through the City at rush hour...). Jim is returning from a five-day FANTASTIC visit with his son who lives in Jacksonville, WY. That's in Yellowstone country, and he's absolutely giddy about all the things he's seen (lots and lots of wildlife) and wants to go back. Fine with me; I went there before we went to Afghanistan, fell in love and never forgot it, but I told him we'll have to rent an RV; I'm not as in love with airports and airplanes as I've been all my life, and I won't leave The Guys behind.

So I'll be doing well over five hours of virtually straight driving, starting in a couple of hours. It's worth it; the woman lives in the Sierra foothills and is meeting me half way, thank goodness, and I'll be THRILLED to get a home for all these damned fish! But the timing sucks--as does hub's effort to get a "cheap flight" out, which had me DEPOSIT him at SFO at 5 am last Friday...which meant getting up at 3:30 to leave here before 4 am... I had a few choice words on the matter... ;o)

I'll drive along remembering that video and get a few chuckles along the way, so I'm grateful. See 'ya...!

It's not real, Brenda. This is a group ("Pets Add Life",

) who puts out videos trying to encourage people to adopt more than one pet. They do fake stuff, "interviews" with pets, "outtakes" and other stuff. Some of them are pretty dumb, but some are cute--that's just the single BEST they've ever come up with.
