When has that ever been a national priority? We could have saved the lives of more than four thousand American servicemembers by not invading Iraq, and the choice was made to let them all die. More died in Afghanistan, purely by choice, when they could have been saved by NOT doing anything unlikely or difficult, simply by NOT starting yet another war of choice. More than 58,000 could have been saved by not starting a war in Vietnam, but the choice was made that trying to save American lives that way would have been less profitable to American corporations. As long as there is profit in war, America will never know lasting peace. That's your choice, and that's what you've chosen.

The title of this thread is quoted from the American Thinker article, which you apparently did not read. "When your heart breaks, you choose what to fill the cracks with. Love or hate. But hate won't ever heal. Only love can do that."

Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

Talk about learning how to read. Sheesh.
