If you want news about the Obama administration, go to the U.K. press.

Ya know, I did hear a report on Obama in S. Africa, and the talk obviously was about Mandela, and whether or not there'd be a meeting between the two men. But at the end of the report, there was just a throw away blurb about there being protesters gathering, and then that was it.

Who were these protesters, and what did they feel the need to protest ? I had not heard of any 'issues', and the story gave no indication either.

* After viewing the video clip on the protesters, it's clear to see that most are just attention seekers, for what ever their political cause. While the press LOVED hyped up these gatherings when Bush was in office, they go largely ignored by the MSM now.

If they'll call Obama a war criminal, they'll say that about any US President, so it really does reveal their motives. Didn't they know he's the winner of the Nobel PEACE Prize ? Sheesh!

Boy, if they're ignoring it, they're doing it wrong.

Does it hurt to be so stupid, zitboy?

Well, y'know, it sounded good to him, asinine tho' it may be where reality's concerned. I noticed the story on the websites I visit, but I don't watch "the news" on TV much anymore. Just a sampling of what I ran across:

I guess ABC, NBC, US News, USA Today, and those guys don't count as "American press". Of course, everywhere it's "hundreds protest", but on The Blaze it's "THOUSANDS protest", so, well, y'know...

Headline: Obama meets with Mandela's family in South Africa

Not 1 mention of the protesters in the entire piece.

But as for his trip in general, sure they'll MENTION it, in passing, but they won't spend too much time talking about it, or go too far in depth dealing w/ the specifics.

It's not only what is reported, but HOW it's reported, and often what ISN'T said, that counts.
