No wonder Nazi uniforms look so stylish yet uncomfortably gay.

During the 1930s, Hugo Boss began producing Nazi uniforms for he himself had joined the Nazi Party. By joining, he received a contract to design and produce uniforms for the Hitler Youth, Stormtroopers and Schutzstaffel.

Manufacturing uniforms for the Nazis went very well that Boss ended up importing slave labourers from Poland and France into his factories. In 1997, Hugo’s Son, Siegfried Boss told an Austrian news magazine, “Of course my father belonged to the Nazi Party. But who didn’t belong back then?”
