I'm shocked, shocked I tell you! Maybe S.E. Cupp will bring it up with her new pal Van Jones tonight on their no ratings, doomed-before-it-aired new CNN show.

The Mcpherson National polls show Obama with a 64% approval, but the Strut Independent Poll show 58%, however both polls agree that Rappy has a 1% approval rating.

It's funny to think that Bush's approval rating hitting 37% made the news - as we now know those were some of his better poll numbers during his time in office...

And yes, rappy, the GOP is completely stealing the show in this particular story - it now has the lowest favourability of either party in the history of the Gallup poll:

This is a disaster for the Republican party!

This is how Hitler over took Germany.

When a populace becomes so utterly dumb.

I present the clear, unbiased, objective facts to this crowd, and like mind controlled robots, they ignore the salient point, that the SAME POLL, giving the SAME bad polling numbers for different Presidents gets treated not at all the same, by an unbridled partisan media.

The lemmings dutifully follow suit.

And behold... the simpletons respond.

Truly pathetic.

Didn't ignore, just accounted for it differently than you. Shout the word 'SAME' all you want, but what might be top story one day, might be third or fourth item on a busier news day. In short, your point means very little.

It's not personal. It's just war.

The conclusion wanted is the one the MSM is putting out for the American public to swallow. The media SHOULD be reporting the news, not fabricating it, as happens now.

All I did was give a simple, honest and straight forward side by side comparison.

Those who don't like it are the ones who have an agenda.

Who said they didn't "like it"?

Oh, right, we didn't freak out over it, so that must mean there's an "agenda".

As to "ignoring" polls, how come Rap isn't interested in the latest one I just put up? He wouldn't be ignoring it 'cuz he doesn't like it, would he? You know, the brand new one that says
Quote:

only a mere 24% have a positive view of the Republican Party since they caused the government shutdown last Tuesday. A whopping 53% say they have a negative view of the GOP. But that’s not all. The Tea Party is taking an even harsher beating. Only 21% of those surveyed have anything good to say about the extreme wing of the GOP. And who do most Americans blame for the government shutdown? Why, Republicans, of course. 53% fault the GOP for the shutdown and an overwhelming 70% say Republicans are putting petty politics ahead of the country’s well-being.

There's also the fact that Bush's approval ENDED UP at 22% (!) and Obama's is headed back up again.

But you see, Rap doesn't even have to THINK about these things, he gets them handed to him on a platter:

"NBC Hypes 'Damage' to GOP in Shutdown, Ignores Obama Approval at 37 Percent" Newsbusters, of course, "exposing and combatting liberal media bias". All he has to do is click, read, regurgitate.

More lunatic propagandizing by Niki. At the time Bush's approval rating hit 37%, the MSM went ape over reporting it over and over and over. It was news, that day, and they drilled into everyone's heads. No one knew if / when it would bottom out, but the media acted like it was the pretty damn significant. Over reporting it, as they did , only fueled negative views on W. It soon became a self fulfilling prophecy of sorts, the more they talked bad about W, the lower his #'s went.

When Barry's hit 37 %, it barely got a mention. The MSM didn't want to weigh him down w/ bad news, as they had done w/ Bush, so saying NOTHING about his historic low approval ratings aren't as much a burden.

Bush's approval rating today is higher than Barry's.

Poor Rap; by just swallowing and regurgitating, he doesn't even get his facts CLOSE:

"Bush's approval rating today is higher than Barry's". But Mr. Bush isn't IN OFFICE, and I imagine he doesn't look nearly so bad to Republicans in retrospect, considering what his party's been up to since then. He finished up with 22%, which is the only figure you can compare:
Quote:

President Bush will leave office as one of the most unpopular departing presidents in history, according to a new CBS News/New York Times poll showing Mr. Bush's final approval rating at 22 percent.

Seventy-three percent say they disapprove of the way Mr. Bush has handled his job as president over the last eight years.

Mr. Bush's final approval rating is the lowest final rating for an outgoing president since Gallup began asking about presidential approval more than 70 years ago.

The rating is far below the final ratings of recent two-term presidents Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan, who both ended their terms with a 68 percent approval rating, according to CBS News polling.

Recent one term presidents also had higher ratings than Mr. Bush. His father George H.W. Bush had an end-of-term rating of 54 percent, while Jimmy Carter's rating was 44 percent.

Harry Truman had previously had the lowest end-of-term approval at 32 percent, as measured by Gallup. http://www.cbsnews.com/2100-500160_162-4728399.html]

PRESIDENT Obama will have to go a long ways to get that low by the end of his second term. Check back then if you want to compare.

As to "death throes", nope, I know you guys are too terrified to actually READ any polls except maybe FauxNews, but I hate to tell 'ya, Republicans ain't doin' so good right now. As of two days ago...
Quote:

No Party in Gallup's History Has Been Less Popular Than the GOP Is Now

During the impeachment of Bill Clinton, Republicans were pretty unpopular. After eight years of George W. Bush, same. But never in the history of Gallup polling has the party been more unpopular than it is right now.

Gallup: "[T]he Republican Party is now viewed favorably by 28% of Americans, down from 38% in September. This is the lowest favorable rating measured for either party since Gallup began asking this question."

And 49 percent view Democrats unfavorably — but 62 percent have that opinion of Republicans. Interestingly, Republicans were twice as likely to view their own party unfavorably as were Democrats theirs. If nothing else, this new data reinforces what other polls have shown for weeks: it will take something significant for the Republican Party to walk away from this shutdown with a victory. http://www.theatlanticwire.com/politics/2013/10/republicans-are-settin

But please, do keep screaming and throwing tantrums, it gives me more opportunities to have fun...
