Goodbye, kind world (George Monbiot) - In common with all those generations which have contemplated catastrophe, we appear to be incapable of understanding what confronts us.

I replied to little rappy by either copying/pasting his posts directly, or using them as templates - despite the fact my replies were not true, responsive, on topic, relevant, intelligent or civil. It was QUITE illuminating of the mindset you have to be in to post like that ...

Give it a try sometime. It could be a learning experience.

I'm intrigued, though I am having plenty of fun psycho-analyzing his RWA condition. Which threads did you do this? I'm curious.

BTW, I once amused myself with the idea of using direct copies of his old posts, (and Geezer and Jongs) just with the obvious 180 flips: replace W with O and Dems with Reps, etc. See how he replies to his own words. But he just isn't worth all that work. :)

Leftist Professor Jonathan Turley : ' Obama a danger to the Constitution '

My last 2 posts. And that was enough for me. But as I posted, it was QUITE illuminating. The downside is, I have to get the smell out of my brain.

Yeah, I busted him a while back, that thread about the guy in Georgia who shot the homeless guy in his yard.

R's first post was that it was in the gun guy's home. He was defending it and didn't have an obligation to retreat. So I quoted from the source he cited that the homeless guy was in the back yard, that the gunner called the cops, they suggested that he stay inside, then he got his gun and went outside to confront the guy and shot him.

Rappy quickly changed to, "Well, it was on HIS PRIVATE property."

The entire exchange, including the Rapster changing the facts, lasted less than one hour.

E-T-A: Coupla minor corrections: It was Niki's thread from N0v 29, last updated Dec 7. And it wasn't the Raptard's First post in the thread, mighta been his second.

The level of butthurt and mindless animosity you children display here... bottles the mind.

It truly does.

I'm so glad I'm living rent free in your heads. Not much of a view though, I must confess.

It might "bottle" YOUR mind, dumbass. We figured your brain was in a jar somewhere, since you use it so little. Normally intelligent, literate people, people who can ACTUALLY read and WRITE, use the expression " boggle " the mind.

So under appreciated and misunderstood, am I...

I admit. I don't always stay on the well marked path.

Try to keep up, if ya can.

Least favourite term in all of trolling culturedom:

"butthurt."

I am active in the culture. I embrace it's tenants. But "butthurt" and "umad?" is the domain of bad trolling. :/ They are the territory of trolls who are floundering and can only respond with the insinuation that their target has "taken it up the ass" in some way by the lackluster trolling.

It is self-aggrandizement, a troll taking THEMSELVES too seriously. If a person is indeed "butthurt" then they will exhibit the signs in their RESPONSE. Accusing them of such instead of seeing it obviously demonstrated weakens the potency of the troll attempt, if there ever was any.

And when non-trolls use "butthurt" inappropriately it becomes just freakin' PAINFUL to see. Case in point.

Sometimes... Sometimes I hear it in real life. And it instills in me an immediate need to kick the person who uttered that in the face, even if I don't know them and so far have been completely uninvolved in the situation.

It is just so inherently PUNCHABLE. You all have no idea. The punchability is off the charts.

I concur. While I'm not in any manner a 'troll' , I shall henceforth no longer use that term. I was trying to convey a least favorite term to those whom are my least favorite, and in doing do, sank to their level.

It shall endeavor to be better.

( though you'll no doubt see it used by others, as some sort of childish attempt to needle me. You'll see. )

No, I don't think you are.

It's just, I could fill volumes on why "butthurt" is not an effective technique and why people who are not trolling (or trolling badly) should not use the term. Or indeed, why even good trolls should not use the term.

I will look for other people using the term on this board, because I believe this is an important message that needs to be said. "Butthurt" has become overused and to me it is comparable to saying "el-oh-el" out loud in real life.

It is a term that needs to die. It must be stopped before it ruins the internet.

Pointing out a direct example of you changing facts is animosity...?

Funny, most people just call it being accurate - but we know that word is irrelevant to you.

Only, I've never changed facts, or even claimed to have.

This is just you, Storybook, trolling again.

I confess. That is something you're good at doing. Bravo.

His words, right there, and he denies them, and says Im the troll.

He doesn't even try to conceal his contempt for reality anymore, does he? Just locks the door to rappyland ever more tightly, and prays no pesky facts slip through to contradict his highly selective worldview.
