To play Devil's Advocate here, Europe does need a tall,strong glass of wake-up. Not unlike Boromir's speech to the Coucil in Rivendell... " By the blood of our people are your lands kept safe ", our military has enabled Europe to spend far less on theirs and more on social engineering programs, welfare, and the like.

A diminished USA is bad enough. But now that Vlad the Conqueror is on the move, and it's plain as day that Obama would rather sing Kumbaya instead of standing up to this regional bully, there's a collective cold sweat breaking out across the land.
