Benghazi: Before the administration told the world the false narrative of the attack on our compound, the CIA's station chief in Libya pointedly told his superiors in Washington that no spontaneous demonstration occurred.

We didn't need any more proof that the president of the United States, Barack Obama, his secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, and his United Nations ambassador, Susan Rice, repeatedly and deliberately lied to the American people. They told the public that the terrorist attack on our Benghazi diplomatic mission was a spontaneous demonstration that went rogue in response to an Internet video.

We will nonetheless get more proof on Wednesday from acting CIA Director Mike Morell. He is scheduled to give his first public testimony on the Benghazi attack at a hearing of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

Morell's public testimony comes a day after the CIA's top officer on the ground in Libya at the time of the Benghazi terrorist attack appeared before a House panel for the first time. In closed-door testimony, he confirmed the attack was "not an escalation of protests." Morell received that message in Washington, D.C., in an email on Sept. 15, 2012. It was the day before Rice went on five Sunday talk shows to spread the false video narrative.
