I believe in solving problems, not sharing them.

U.S. President Barack Obama will press European allies on Friday to impose more sanctions if Russia steps up action in Ukraine, while a cut in its credit rating sent a strong reminder to Moscow of the economic consequences of its involvement in the crisis.

Holy fuck. Does our government not experience just a brief flash shame? A stutter of self-recognition?

So, when Kerry said
Quote:

"What we see from Russia is an illegal and illegitimate effort to destabilize a sovereign state and create a contrived crisis with paid operatives across an international boundary*,"

cism-of-foreign-policy.html

*citing photos that the NYT had to retract, did he not for a moment think about the USA "interference" in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Sudan, as well as Ukraine?

Apparently not!

I just look on our government's reaction to Ukraine as consisting of the same goalpost-moving, fake photography, and blatant propaganda as characterized the rush to war with Iraq.

The hypocrisy of our government, as well as the people who mindlessly support it, reminds me once again why "people" will never count in the scheme of things. The rich and powerful have a meme of "people" being sheep, and there's a reason for it: IT WORKS. Until people stop being sheep and DO SOMETHING, they can assume that their role in the shape of things to come is, deservedly, zero.

Nope.
For mine own, I am somewhat annoyed (too cynical to be outraged) that Nuland, Pyatt and the rest of this fucked up little cabal aren't sitting in prison cells awaiting trial right now, given how damning the evidence implicating them happens to be.

As for the other, the Predictive Index shows a spike in about 7-8 months, exactly how it'll manifest is a matter of some debate, but there's telling signs of a sociopolitical surge.

Expand?
I don't think I saw your prior sayings. Deserved why? Not joining NATO, not moving farther from Russia? Something prior to WWII?
I'm curious.
