Fox's Ablow: Sex Ed Is A "Trojan Horse" For Talking About Threesomes

“I think there’s everything wrong with it. …I’m not sure why schools even have to teach sex ed. … They taught me nothing about sex in school back in Marblehead, Mass. I learned. …It’s a slippery slope. …They can’t even teach these kids to read and write effectively… I’d rather have them learn leadership. Then they’ll take care of the sex themselves, at home, with their parents.

It’s a Trojan horse inside the schools and they’re gonna start talking about threesomes, and they’re gonna be talking about everything that’s OK. …Why wouldn’t they? ‘Cause this book is about kissing on the couch. So three people can kiss on the couch." Video at http://mediamatters.org/video/2014/05/09/foxs-ablow-sex-ed-is-a-trojan

Head Of ‘Family Research Council’ Says Contraception ‘Leads To Tyranny’

Yesterday, Family Research Council President Tony Perkins responded to the news that the Department of Education will investigate 55 colleges and universities for “mishandling sexual assault claims” by claiming that contraception distribution “leads to tyranny.” Speaking on his “Washington Watch” program, Perkins lamented “the sexualization that is taking place in our culture in general but on college campuses.” “Contraception is made available as if it were candy which sends a message, well it’s there, it must be there for a reason, and then we’re surprised when — this is not justification, it’s wrong, we are all responsible for our actions — but we’re surprised when people act on these outside factors that they are surrounded by,” Perkins said. “It leads to tyranny.” Audio at http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/tony-perkins-warns-condom-use-le

GOP Candidate Compares Contraceptive Mandate to Serving Neo-Nazis, Grand Wizards

Just recently, another Republican took the stage to denounce Obamacare ‘s contraception mandate as the equivalent to Jews having to cater to neo-Nazis. Monte Shaw, the executive director of the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association, who is the Republican frontrunner in the primary to succeed retiring Rep. Tom Latham in the state’s 3rd District, made the comparison during a debate:
Quote:

“Our rights come from God, and the Constitution is there to protect them. And it’s freedom of religion, not freedom from religion, for the government to step in and say that a religious institution has to provide a good or service that violates their beliefs because they’re Christians is flat out wrong. Think of the outrage that would be out there if they tried to pass a law that said a Jewish printer had no choice but to print up handbills for a neo-Nazi rally. Or an African-American artist had no choice but had to paint a portrait of the local grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan. The outrage would be out there. And I would be joining that outrage. But I’m just as outraged that the government thinks they can tell our religious institutions that they have to provide services that run exactly counter to their religious beliefs. That violates the Constitution and we must fight it.

)

Leaving aside the fact that the Constitution makes no reference of God and our Founding Fathers said, repeatedly, that we are not a Christian nation, a couple of things are interesting. He says himself "freedom FROM religion", so isn't a religion dictating what it will and won't cover for people who might not even share the same religion contradictory? And, of course, the big question: Since some state laws since the mid 1990s have said that any employer offering health insurance that covers prescription medications also cover all FDA approved forms of birth control, and many didn’t have religious exemptions, even for some churches, why the big cry now? Could it be because Obama is in office? I’m still waiting on Hobby Lobby’s excuse as to why they’ve covered birth control in the past ( http://www.reddirtreport.com/prairie-opinions/hobby-lobby-provided-eme
rgency-contraceptives-they-opposed-them
) but just recently decided to make a stink out of it.

Shaw’s perspective on the issue of Obamacare is consistent with the conservative view that employees are owned by their employers, and that paychecks, healthcare rights, union, and benefits are gifts to be given, not earned from hard work. And of course it goes even further for some on the right…

Fox News Host Says Wives Shouldn’t Earn More Than Husbands Because Men Are Like Cavemen

On Fox & Friends, host Clayton Morris asked the very pressing question if women are, in fact, the issue: “Are female breadwinners a problem? Is there a problem with men earning less in the household, and do you think that it could cause big marital problems?”

Conversing with Kmele Foster that women might cause marriage problems over “conventional” issues, Morris concurred, adding that it could also be a biological reason as to why men should earn more money: “Isn’t there some sort of biological, innate need for me to be the caveman? Go out and bring home the dinner. Is it emasculating if we don’t do it?” Video at http://www.addictinginfo.org/2014/05/08/caveman-talk/

America loves a winner!

Talking about sex only gets kids wanting to HAVE sex. And when they know they shouldn't, they get all depressed and angry. Or , when they see their friends having sex, and they get none, they get all angry and depressed more.

Just say NO!

Kids are going to want to have sex regardless if they are talked to about it. They are going to be talking about it themselves.

I do not fear God, I fear the ignorance of man.

'What difference does it make?' As long as it's something to feed Niki's insatiable Fox New obsession.

*sigh*

I remember a time when Ms Garofalo wasn't batshit crazy. She'd even do comedy bits about how it was OK to be a bit over weight, and mocked girls who starved themselves to be accepted by the Hollywood elite.

Then she lost like 40-50 lbs, and did a complete 180. She went from being ' out of the box' quirky and funny, to out of her freaking skull. Now she's just a bitter , angry skank.

Sad.

First season episode called "D-Girl" also featured Jon Favreau, Alicia Witt, and Sandra Berhard. One of their best.

I just really liked Janeane in Mystery Men. Her character had some great scenes w/ her late father.
