Quote:"The alleged means by which defendants chose to rebut Mr. Wilson's comments and attack his credibility may have been highly unsavory, " Bates wrote. "But there can be no serious dispute that the act of rebutting public criticism, such as that levied by Mr. Wilson against the Bush administration's handling of prewar foreign intelligence, by speaking with members of the press is within the scope of defendants' duties as high-level Executive Branch officials."

It would do one well to learn something about history in general, the mob generally doesn't reward a debacle of (real or percieved) complete and total failure with love and adulation, rather it's opposite I would say. -F

Which is funny, because we're always sold that it's the folks on the Left who deplore violence so much, except when it's THEM in charge. Gotta love the irony. The fact of matter is, it's only a fringe side group of folks who'd get so worked up as to even evoke something so drastic and savage as 'lynching' anyone supporting this administration. This 'mob' you speak of is nothing more than a tiny fraction of mal contents who amount to NOTHING. That you think I'd fret over any 'mob ' of idiots so moved against this issue, or any remotely like it, is laughable. You're out numbered 10 to 1, if not by more. Scooter not going to jail. Get over it. Plame case thrown out. Get over it. There's nothing more here, you lose. Get over it. People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss " They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "
