Since we like playing 'what if' games here in RWED, let's assume there'll be a President Obama. How long do you think it'll take for the GOP to try to impeach him?

Sure, you're probably thinking that by the looks of it, the Democrats will have a strong majority in both houses, so the GOP wouldn't even bother trying to do something as stupid as that, especially not after the Democrats were so nice to them by not trying to impeach their war criminal, right? But we all know that a Democratic majority counts for little - just look at how they caved in to the White House on the FISA proposal.

So whoever comes up with the most ridiculous and idiotic (in other words, the most likely) reason and time frame wins bragging rights.

Wrong. Dennis 'Moonbeam' Kucinich HAS tried to impeach Bush, via Kangaroo Court manner, but wisely, the Dems won't let that lame bill get out of committee. Knowing he's not a war criminal probably helped him out, of course.

Yeah... since the Democrats generally ignore Kucinich and whatever he's proposing until he goes away, I think it's safe to say that they haven't tried to impeach the alleged (happy? ) war criminal.

Why would the GOP impeach Obama. The only person thats been impeached in the last 20 years as been the Dems poster boy Clinton.
As far as impeaching Bush, the Dems hate him soo much that if they could have they would have. So saying he should be impeached is just ignorant left wing BS.
Do I agree with everything Bush has done, absolutely not, do I think he's as bad as the libtards do, of course not.

BTW did you all hear there were 8 new super earths discovered relatively nearby, and that they all suffer from global warming thanks to Bush. BTW the sun is going to burn out in a few billion years....damn Bush...

Not really. Impeachment has been adequately turned by the Republicans into a partisan tool of attack. George Bush could gang rape a dozen interns on the white house lawn and it would be hard for the Democrats to gain a credible attack, because it would be "just a partisan attempt at revenge".

It would be virtually impossible for the democrats to gain traction for such a measure, no matter what the evidence, because of the way the Republicans used it.

More insane ramblings by the people who brought you beeeer milkshakes!
