He was a good writer, I really enjoyed his books, well not Terminal Man, but most of the others.

Let us all join together and hope for the best for his family...and pray that a million years in the future some sentient lizard civilization clones him and puts him in a park with Heinlen, Asimov, Hubbard, and a few other great sci fi writers.

I have a vote and I'm not afraid to use it!

Holy smokes that's young - 20 years before his time.

The Man They Call Soul...

I just saw this online a few minutes ago. That really sucks.

Soul (after a long pause): "Yeah. Because I have one."

I'm blogging about the novel I'm writing! Stay informed, and keep me inspired! Please!

STOWEAWAY

I grew up reading his work. It was always a lot of fun.

He truly is a cultural icon.

AURAPTOR

America loves a winner!

Bad news couldn't come on a worse day, either. Big fan of the guy, especially one of his later works 'State of Fear'. It amazes me that he was so young, and only 24 when Andromeda Strain was 1st published, in 1967. Smart as hell - Harvard , Harvard Med School , and very entertaining.

This really sucks. Thoughts to his family and close friends, associates. A great loss.
