Gettin' old, but still a hippie at heart...

Just for fun, and to show how insanely alternate-universe-bent the man is, here's just a few. Anyone who wants to contribute, provide further giggles:

Beck: “We call them progressives now, but back in Samuel Adams’ day, they used to call them tyrants. A little later, I think they’re also called slave owners.”

At least a dozen of the “founding fathers”, at least 12 (maybe more) of the 56 signatories to the Constitution, owned slaves.

Glenn Beck praises an obsolete provision of the U.S. Constitution that prohibited Congress from outlawing the slave trade before 1808 and capped taxes on the slave trade at $10 per slave. In his explanation of the provision, Beck does not mention slavery, saying instead that the provision means that the Founders apparently “felt like there was a value to being able to live here” and lamenting: “Not anymore. These days we can’t ask anything of immigrants — including that they abide by our laws.”

He told his audience for several weeks running that he “could not disprove” the existence of concentration camps run by FEMA in which conservatives were to be rounded up.

He accused Al Gore of creating a new “Hitler youth” by promoting environmental awareness among young people.
