Tiger Woods, an American professional golfer of mixed Thai and African American descent, is widely considered the most financially successful athlete in the history of golf, earning over one billion dollars altogether, as a member of the PGA Tour. On November 27, 2009, Woods was reportedly seriously injured in a car accident. He pulled out of his driveway, and struck a fire hydrant, hitting a neighbor's tree around 2:30 a.m. This reported accident sparked rumors that Tiger Woods may be dead.
