"Old Lucky" and his chick magnet "Old Lucky"

Mr. Allen Swift ( Springfield , MA.) received this 1928 Rolls-Royce Picadilly P1 Roadster from his father, brand new - as a graduation gift in 1928. He drove it up until his death last year...at the age of 102 !! He was the oldest living owner of a car from new. Just thought you'd like to see it. He donated it to a Springfield museum after his death. It has 170,000 miles on it, still runs like a Swiss watch, dead silent at any speed and is in perfect cosmetic condition. (82 years) That's approximately 2000 miles per year...

THEHAPPYTRADER

Reminds me of my uncle. He has this Tractor he uses all the time and it looks brand new but old fashioned. Last year my girlfriend got me to go with her to the Moultrie expo, where they have all manner of farm equipment, demonstrations, animals and the like. It was kind of boring for the most part, but then I saw a bunch of old tractors which kind of interested me and I saw a tractor that looked just like my uncle's, only it had clearly seen better days. Turns out my uncle's tractor was a Ford made in the early 40's. He could show it off at the expo, but he was probably using it for something practical.
